24.01.2022 We know December is here because Western Australia's Christmas Tree (Moodjar or Nuytsia floribunda), is blooming. The Moodjar is sacred in Noongar culture, with spirits of those who have recently passed away living on the branches on their way to Kurannup (the land of the ancestors). The Moodjar is the largest variety of mistletoe in the world and only grows naturally in WA. So if you’re looking to find a kiss under the mistletoe this festive season, Salter Point Lagoon might just be the place.
