Imagine a brand new custom built gym designed explicitly for climbing in the city. Easy access via public transport on the Fremantle & Joondalup lines and also on the CAT (green) line. If you are new to climbing or want to get more out of your climbing with good technique, the final Skills and Techniques courses for 2020 are starting next week! - Thursday 3rd of December 7-9pm or - Saturday 5th of December 12-2pm... The course runs over three consecutive weeks for two hours and includes tuition with an instructor to focus on you, your climbing and your goals! 21.01.2022 HERE IT IS!!! The new gym is located at City West in the iconic Plaistowe’s factory building! A few of you were spot on but we can’t show you inside just yet. Custom designed explicitly for bouldering in the city; featuring great angles and the best European holds. You can also expect great coffee and our smiling faces. We look forward to showing you more of our new digs soon. Once the walls arrive Summit Climbing Walls will commence the build. Hold tight!

12.01.2022 This is Holly! Holly has been climbing at City Summit for almost a year. She started her climbing journey by enrolling in our Fundamental Skills and Techniques course which runs for two hours over three consecutive sessions. Holly has grown tremendously over the last year and now trains with our Summit Academy. This program runs for 90 mins twice a week over 10 weeks! 10.01.2022 With the new gym at City West in progress we have been doing some thinking about our brand. Even though we are finally going to be true to our name, City Summit City West doesn’t have the ring to it we were hoping for. City Summit represents nearly 10 years history of climbing in WA. It embodies everything we have done to build this business and the drive to live our vision to increase the profile and participation of climbing in Western Australia. However our baby is all... grown up and our business is moving in new directions. The WA climbing scene has also evolved during this time and for the better! We have more gyms, more climbers and the quality of climbing is better than we imagined. So we are moving to the new name ‘Summit Climbing Gyms’ which includes Summit Malaga and Summit City West. Our new brand will still reflect the same values we have always held and we will continue with our vision for climbing in WA. To link our expanding business, we will use a single logo icon for our brands, including Summit Climbing Walls. The icon represents the mountains which inspire us to be adventurous and the bounding hexagon symbolic of the many facets of our business, the influence of the people who are working to build this brand and our wonderful community. We also wanted to say that we could not have achieved any of this without the support of our community and staff who continually help us to realise this vision. A huge thanks to you all. The rebrand will affect a few things, mainly uniforms for Summit Youth, however we intend for a gradual rollout over the coming months. Please get in touch if you have any questions. 02.01.2022 It’s been so great to watch Halle's journey through our Summit Youth program to the Development Squad! She has been climbing for over three years and is a valued member of the Summit climbing community. Halle secured first place in the Intermediate Female category at Skyfall 2020, and finished fourth in the State Youth Lead Selection competition (Youth C Female)! We are so proud of you Halle!
