25.01.2022 To most this might look like an ordinary backpack but for some young people who are couching surfing, living rough and/or without stable accommodation it’s so much more. Sadly there’s many young people (over 130) in this situation in the Toowoomba area. This week we were able to give this back pack (which includes sleeping bag, torch, hygiene items and warm jacket) to a young person sleeping rough. We were also able to support them by listening to their difficult life circumstances and provide information around support services who are able to help. A big thanks to the legends at Toowoomba Regional Council Youth Connect for providing these backpacks for us to give out. #suportingyoungpeople #bettertogether #toowoombaregion
