16.01.2022 BUNBURY OUTER RING ROAD UPDATE On Tuesday evening Bunbury City Council confirmed its support for the construction of the Bunbury Outer Ring Road however has... rejected the proposed preferred northern interchange option’ as presented to Council by Main Roads. Council has also asked the City CEO to request that Main Roads redesign the proposed intersection with the route to and from Bunbury as a primary route with dual-lane access. The CEO will also be contacting other local government authorities in the region with a view to holding a round-table discussion about the proposed designs to allow feedback to Main Roads from a regional perspective. This follows on from last Monday’s meeting between Bunbury Mayor Gary Brennan, the CEO and Minister for Transport Rita Saffioti where the Mayor presented the Minister with a concept for an alternative route (pictured).
