25.01.2022 First day back from holidays is always the hardest day. At least we got to work this Art Deco beauty. Cant wait to see it all finished with the black steel windows and render done.

25.01.2022 Creating a nice door entrance into the lounge. A steel and glass door to come. A period architrave on one side to match the beautiful old features and a p50 shadow line on the other to tie in the modern extension.

23.01.2022 Building some finishing touches onto this old lady. A couple of awnings and some side gates have already made a huge difference. Looking forwards to building the front fence and a bit of landscaping.

23.01.2022 Fencing a property in Rosebud with treated pine slats on redwood posts. Created a nice private courtyard for the house.

23.01.2022 A nice little deck and pergola for a client. The most amazing spotted gum boards iv seen from miter 10 diamond creek. Now for a lick of paint.

22.01.2022 Just a small job from the other day. A nice letterbox to tie in with the house. 90x90 Cypress posts with 2 coats of @intergrain walnut water based.

21.01.2022 Wile Im not going anywhere on my days off I thought Id keep myself busy by turning some old timber (old crossover protection) into a shelf for under my tv. A little welding and a lot of sanding. Also my first attempt at white washing. Very happy with the end result. Next will be a matching coffee table.

20.01.2022 Installed some custom shelving in a clients home for an amazing book collection. The timber is 25mm birch ply from @plyco . Beautiful soft tones with a light grain sweeping through. Stunning

18.01.2022 Bulk excavation is finished. A bit of rain made things difficult to get trucks out of a hole but nothing the boys from @starbuckexcavation havent seen before. Now @aldigpiling will prepare the walls for concrete.

17.01.2022 A bit of landscaping on the job. Some steel mesh screens for some creepers to grow through. A little concrete storage area and some preparation for a recycled red brick path.

15.01.2022 Thought Id share this custom made letterbox I did for a client. Its a replica of their house that worked perfectly for mail. I really enjoyed making this. Sometimes its nice to do thing a little different.

14.01.2022 Installed some handles on these beautiful original doors. The antique black looks amazing with hints of brass shining through. The mortise tool really makes installation easy and a heap quicker.

14.01.2022 Wall framing is now complete. Time for some roof trusses.

13.01.2022 A nice kitchen Reno for a client. A perfect choice of colour for a nice bright kitchen. A fitting update to a solid home. I think the before and after shots tell a better story than I can.

13.01.2022 The bulk excavation is nearly done. In three day 58 truck and trailers and 3 semi loads have been removed. That means something like 1400 m3 have been cut and transported and couldnt be done without the guys from @firsttrafficmanagement taking care of all the traffic management and the well oiled machine that is @starbuckexcavation @ Coburg, Melbourne

13.01.2022 Dorothy got it all wrong. She should have followed the red brick road. Lovely second hand red brick paving leading into this beautiful weatherboard home.

11.01.2022 A nice transformation of a home in rosebud. Great colour choices by the owners to freshen up this house.

11.01.2022 Using the best tools for the job. @dewalt_australia

10.01.2022 A bit of a cleanup of the old kitchen in rosebud too. Painting the cabinets, a new hardwood bench top, some new appliances and a new Splashback. We also built a custom fridge cabinet with shelving for microwave and coffee maker.

10.01.2022 When you find anyway possible to make Mondays work for you.

10.01.2022 Today we have a complete basement. A big thanks to @aldigpiling for creating a our basement. Tru professionals that made the whole process easy. From the piling and capping beam to the walls its been a pleasure working with you.

09.01.2022 #blackouttuesday

09.01.2022 A nice little job for a friend on Saturday. Changing a old dated front door with this stunning big timber door with a electronic/Bluetooth lock.

08.01.2022 A nice little showroom upgrade for our friends @sageandclare . New flooring in timeless oak supplied by @bunnings with v groove panel lining the wall and bench seat. Shelving made from 18mm hardwood ply from @plyco . Look forward to see it all styled.

08.01.2022 Pumping out the framing in coburg. Only a little more to finish, then the roof trusses can go on. Not long before we can put a roof on and cover up. #Cjandc_Construction #melbournebuilding #construction #architecture #design #building #interiordesign #renovation #engineering #contractor #home #concrete #realestate #civilengineering #constructionlife #builder #architect #heavyequipment #interior #engineer #constructionsite #work #homedecor #house #carpentry #constructionworker #homeimprovement #tools #business #bhfyp

08.01.2022 A little bit of landscaping for CJ&C. Finishing of a side path using Slate stepping stones surrounded with 7mm riverstone.

08.01.2022 Without being able to go out much on the weekends has allowed me to keep my hands busy in the garage. I love the fact that timbers normally cut up for firewood can be turned into a table top and a length of leftover steel from a site can be turned into legs. It is very heavy but exactly the look we wanted for our living room.

07.01.2022 Finalisation of the living area/entrance for @alisonlewisinteriors some beautiful rattan set into my favourite timber American oak to creat doors for a linen cupboard. The rattan is a perfect choice to compliment the oak batons and really creates a welcoming entrance. Then to follow the curved wall around to a lovely living area. I have loved every bit of this build and Im thankful for the opportunity to work on something so stunning.

07.01.2022 Some spotted gum floating floors that we installed on a landing and stairs. Nicely finished off with some 90mm lambs tongue skirting. @ Camberwell, Victoria

07.01.2022 First floor frames complete and the Ijoist are being installed. Chipboard next then start frames for the final level. Not far from finished frames.

04.01.2022 From a humble home to a flattened pile of rubble in a few hours. The demolition is to make way for our new project in coburg. 5 modern townhouses. Exciting project with basement Leval to be excavated soon. Couldnt be done without a bit of traffic management. Thanks to the ladys from @firsttrafficmanagement for a professional job with a smile on their face. @ Coburg, Melbourne

04.01.2022 Heres a little flashback to our Northcote job. A bit of frame went into this beauty. The job with the most amazing view of the city.

03.01.2022 Another home project ticked off the list. Custom made king sized bed in Tasmanian oak, once again white washed to match the rest of the furniture. I guess there is a positive side to lockdown. It’s given me plenty of time on the weekends.

03.01.2022 Archway galore. This Art Deco renovation has arches throughout the new and old. It perfectly ties modern building in with the beautiful charm of this deco build.

02.01.2022 Hope the girls @buildhercollective get some good weather for dancing on the deck tonight.

01.01.2022 Plenty to do at framing stage. @doddyy__ and I went in on a Sunday to tidy up a few thing on the frames. Now to pack out all the steel ready for the I joists from @dahlsens this week.

01.01.2022 Time to make it water tight. With cladding started and the roof getting measured next week it won’t be long before our coburg job is locked up and looking beautiful on the outside.
