24.01.2022 Troy & Pascale are living the dream and showing how a Clansman is great for cruising. Their videos are very inspiring and they have made Magnetic Island look like a Tropical paradise compared to my experience many years ago. Troys maintenance explantion for servicing winches was great. Although, he should have Aussie ARCO winches as they use all Bronze and therefore no corrosion issues. We look forward to catching up with them when they make it to Sydney. I look forward to catching up and sharing Clannie Warries.

23.01.2022 Welcome aboard Steven Peterson.

16.01.2022 CLANSMAN for Sale! The Clansman on the cover photo, "Piper", is for sale... Piper had a total long term out of water refurbishment approximately 7 years ago by Greg Denning at Davistown NSW. The refurbishment included a new aft cabin bulkhead due to rot. The underwater area was tidied up and a new paint job inside and out with two pack polyurethane. The hull underwater area was in good condition when last slipped. She comes with good cruising gear including furler, Auto he...lm, VHF Radio, brand new compass & Fish Finder ready to be fitted. Main & Headsail and running gear in good to fair condition ready to go short term cruising. The previous owner had set her up for living onboard and she is fitted with a TV. He lived comfortably onboard for 12 months at Gladesville Bridge Marina in Sydney. She is in good condition to set up as home away from home with a shot of the galley and other internal areas in the Timeline Gallery. Piper offers good value for the person looking for a home away from home, harbour racing or short term cruising or to set up for short handed long term cruising. For further information or to book in a sticky beak contact Scott David Giddings or Joshua Marshall. You can see the potential of a Clanny set up for long term cruising @ https://www.facebook.com/freerangesailing . Where Mirrool is being sailed around the North West of Australia on a long term basis. Hows that for adventure.

10.01.2022 I have been sent an article from the Sydney Morning Herald digital version of 03 August on the life and times of the CLANSMAN designer & builder - Bruce Fairlie who passed on on Wednesday 13 June 2018. All of us Clansman owners are indebted to his forethought and capabilities to build a classic bullet proof yacht which are still going 40+ years later and SYLVARA will outlive me with some continued love & care. See the written version below as reproduced thanks to the SMH 03 ...Continue reading

10.01.2022 They found the Crown of Thorns Starfish killing a reef in this video. Where is the outrage on what Crown of Thorns are doing? We never hear any of their destruction these days. Enjoy. Well done Troy & Pascale for bringing this destruction to our attention. Why is the Great Barrier Reef Authority but sorting out the Crown of Thorns?
