16.01.2022 This afternoon I’ve finally stopped and took a deep breath and let my unknown future hit me in the face. I’m not the only one in this position and I know that ...many more people will also be in shock when it finally creeps into their life in coming days or weeks. Eventually the majority of Australia will all be in the same boat wondering if it’s going to be weeks or months without work and let’s be honest it’s a scary thought because we all thought we were lucky to live in such a beautiful country and that bad things like this would never happened us. In times like this I’m so happy to have a employer who has made such a hard decision to close her beautiful hair salon Sage until this mess clears up. I’m happy to work for someone that puts the health and safety first for her staff, our families and our beautiful clients. I’m disappointed that the Prime Minister has not closed hair and beauty salons already! We are not essential service in the time of a world health pandemic, especially when it’s such a close one on one contact service. We need to stop the spread of this horrible virus and I’m now happy I can play my part in helping stop this virus by truly self distancing. I’m sorry to my wonderful clients that I cannot make you look and feel beautiful in this horrible time in our life but please know that all of you are already beautiful people inside and out and when it’s finally safe to do so I’ll be waiting to wave my magic wand on your hair again. If your my client or not and you just feel like having a chat to someone please feel free to reach out I have all the time in the world to chat now, just not face to face! We are running at a reduced capacity for everyone's safety, pre booked appointments will remain in place and... we will do our best to accommodate everyone. We still ask that if you are unwell or have travelled within 2 weeks of your appointment to please call and reschedule to ensure we can continue to maintain a safe working environment for everyone. 07.01.2022 On this date ten years ago, I started my career as a hairdresser. If you told me back then that I’d go on to have my work published in magazines, present my work on stage at Sydney Hairexpo, style hair at Mercedes Benz Fashion Weeks, speak in front of 400 hairdressers, win an Australian colour competition and go on to represent Australia in a global hair competition in Canada I would have laughed and wonder how the hell would I achieve all that, but with a whole lot of passion and drive here I am feeling thrilled with my decade and where I’ve ended up Here’s to the next decade of new goals and pampering my clients.
