24.01.2022 During the summer season, a lot of Australians get sunburnt when they are doing outdoor activities such as swimming at the beach or pool, and gardening at home. Regular exposure to UV radiation can increase the risk of developing skin cancer. Skin cancer occurs when skill cells are damaged (most of the time through overexposure to UV radiation from the sun). Approximately 2 in 3 Australians will be diagnosed with skin cancer by 70 years of age. This is why it is important to know your skin, and to have regular skin checks with your GP. 23.01.2022 Do you know you can now stay home safe and get consultations with your GP or our paediatrician or psychologist or any allied health professionals via Telehealth. Every patients with medicare is eligible for telehealth now. We fully bulk-bill all telehealth consultations. You can book online 24/7 for GP Telehealth consultations. Audiology clinic will be here every 4 weekly Monday afternoons. Persons from age 26 and above with symptoms and concerns, and from age 50 and above for check up and screening purposes are eligible for a basic hearing check. It is free of charge for patients with a valid Medicare card, and a charge of $20 for those without Medicare. Please note a GP referral is required.
