25.01.2022 We wish all in our kindergarten community a Happy New Year filled with good health, happiness and much excitement, especially for the children soon to commence kindergarten and those starting at primary school.

24.01.2022 Term 4: Week 8 - Not content with the new rock waterways to the sandpit the children today created their own using poly pipe & specially made sandcrete to plug the gaps. Dams were built, buckets were filled and there were happy feet sinking into the quick sand.

23.01.2022 Thank-you Caitlin from Unley Libraries for visiting with us today for stories & rhymes. We also look forward to reading over the coming week the other books about school you have loaned to us.

23.01.2022 Term 4: Week 6 - This morning the children had a special visit from Maddie’s mum Nat who put them through their paces with some warms activities and ball handling skills. Thank you Nat for sharing your time & skills with the children.

23.01.2022 We wish all in our kindergarten community a very Merry Christmas

22.01.2022 Term 4: Week 9 - Last Day of Kindy for 2020! The sun is out, the water is on, let the fun begin.

20.01.2022 As we reflect on our year, we asked the children to share their feelings and although 2020 has been a challenging year it was refreshing to see that from a child's perspective this has not prevented them from experiencing all that is kindy: fun, friendship, play, learning, social interaction and most importantly a place of belonging.

19.01.2022 There’s a little green frog swimming in the water, a little green frog doing what he oughter . . . we wonder how long it will take the children to spot our two newest visitors to Kindy?

19.01.2022 Our sandpit has always been a place of creativity and fun but now, following a complete revamp by Climbing Tree, it is an area of adventure, ingenuity, exploration, water play and endless opportunities for curious minds. This week Climbing Tree delivered the final component of our sandpit makeover, a new storage box/seating area which was purchased with funds generously donated by our 2020 families. Thank-you Climbing Tree and our Kindy families for making our sandpit vision a reality and a place the children all gravitate towards.

18.01.2022 If anyone in our Kindergarten community is looking for a re-usable face mask made locally by one of our current Kindy mums, please check out Fabric Masks Australia. Jo can also arrange contactless pickup for anyone interested. https://fabric-masks-australia.company.site

16.01.2022 We welcome Flopsy to visit with us at Kindy for the next 2 weeks. Thank you to Annabel’s family for returning the gudgeon & picking up Flopsy from the Nature Education Centre.

16.01.2022 , . It's officially National NAIDOC Week, and this year’s theme is Always Was, Always Will Be. It's about recognising that First Nations... people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. The First Peoples engraved the world’s first maps, made the earliest paintings of ceremony and invented unique technologies. They also built and engineered structures predating well-known sites such as the Egyptian Pyramids and Stonehenge. To learn more about the theme, visit: www.naidoc.org.au or follow National NAIDOC. #NAIDOC2020 #NAIDOCWeek

14.01.2022 Term 4: Week 7 - We were welcomed back to Kindy today to a beautiful sea of purple flowers covering the bike track. The green team were then very excited to collect 8 eggs from the chickens and Rita amazed the children with a special craft activity they will work on this week.

13.01.2022 Term 4: Week 5 - Today we picked more produce from our veggie patch, collected the eggs from our chickens and made spinach, cheese & bacon mini muffins. According to the children they were the best muffins ever and it was the best cooking in the world!

13.01.2022 What better way to spend the summer holidays than outdoors undertaking some of the activities on the 25 Things To Do In Summer list created by Nature Play SA.

13.01.2022 Term 4: Week 5 - The warm weather today certainly had the children finding many creative ways to use water from the new hand pump in the sandpit. With more very warm weather forecast for tomorrow please ensure the children wear clothing suitable for water & sand play, pack a spare set of clothes & they may even want to bring along a towel to dry off.

09.01.2022 Information from SA Health relating to the wearing of a face mask when in public.

08.01.2022 Term 4: Week 5 - This week the children have celebrated NAIDOC week, reflected on their Kindy year, delighted in the wonder of Flopsy the bunny, been entertained by music, practiced their writing & drawing skills, cared for the chickens and of course spent a lot of time creating waterways in the sandpit.

06.01.2022 How quickly our lives change with COVID-19. Our Kindergarten will now be closed until at least Wednesday 25th November. We will be in contact with our families to provide updates when we when know more. Stay safe and take care everyone.

04.01.2022 Following the Premiers announcement today that schools and preschools will reopen to all students we look forward to welcoming the children back on Monday 23 November. Please refer to Seesaw for further details.

03.01.2022 What better way to spend lockdown with the kids than joining the wonderfully entertaining Peter Combe online for his SA Lockdown Gig!

01.01.2022 Term 4: Week 7 - Many hands make light work, this was certainly the case today at Kindy. From digging trenches to mixing colours, bathing the dolls to creating giant paper planes, their hands were ever so active and maybe by the end of the day even a little bit messy
