10.01.2022 Ahhh the great paradox... Beautiful sunsets, over plastic covered beaches Sometimes what's hardest is to see both the beauty and chaos as part of the same picture... Seeing only the ugliness of empty coke bottles, boatloads of discarded fishing nets and mountains of trash along the shore is a fast track to internal destruction, anger, negativity and unhappiness. That doesn't help anyone ... Remaining ignorant to the urgency and magnitude of work that needs to be done by us all also doesn't help. THE CHALLENGE: Can we stay thankful for the ever-present beauty even as we face the damage and do our honest and best to amend and change how we live on this planet? It's always balance, a dance of perspective. And much easier said than done!
