03.01.2022 Being creative and scared! Nobody tells people who are beginners wanting to express themselves with their hands, that we usually have good taste. But there is this gap that takes time to develop. For the first few years you make art it is often not good enough for you ....... you feel disappointed, it has potential but because you have good taste you know that it's not good enough and it hurts. What do you do ? Give up ? Most people do !... Is that you ? No....... Like most people who do interesting creative work they usually work for years and years and know their work does not have this special thing that makes it different. Makes them feel proud. You have to know this is normal, work through it and keep making Art. The most important thing you can do is make lots of Art ... it is only through making volume and experimenting and following your heart will you succeed. This way you will close the gap and your work will be as good as your ambition. You just have to fight your way through keep making Art. Michele Middleton
