25.01.2022 This creation was a request as a surprise gift for my lovely friend Kathy who loves donkeys. Kathy is also fond of the colour orange ( a colour I don’t use a lot of ). I tried something a little bit different with the background of this one. This has already been gifted so I will just do three posts so you can see the start to finish. 23.01.2022 I did it! My Etsy store is now reopened and restocked..well actually I had to open a new store because the old one was obviously empty too long. I have added a few things to start with, mainly smaller items and I will add pillows and cushions as soon as I can. 22.01.2022 My completely gorgeous friend Michelle (@michellebuchanan_au ) gave me this divine book for my birthday earlier this year. Little did she know o was listing after said book and the London in Bloom one to be exact. 22.01.2022 Not a lot of sewing happened this weekend as we were gifted a couple of wonderful nights at The Aviary by two of our dearest friends. This is the place they booked for us and it was gorgeous, nestled in amongst the Bush. We felt very spoilt with croissants and a welcome basket and there were lots of beautiful little touches like fairy lights and a collaborative colouring book, also aptly called The Aviary. I even managed to match my attire to the lush green surroundings. It ...was a beautiful weekend and I would totally recommend it if you wanted a little escape. Our kids are all grown up now, but it is always a surprise to come out on Christmas morning . 16.01.2022 Oh my Giddy Aunt, this beautiful girl was some very happy snail mail today. All the way from Nova Scotia from the talented hands of @jane.creelman @miss.sweet.pea, The Lady Gardener took six weeks to arrive but she looks as fresh as a daisy. 09.01.2022 Great news! We are able to post internationally again! It is more expensive than previously as we have to post standard instead of economy but at least we can post. I think it is a flat rate of $25 to 500gm which is a LOT of inspiration packs. On that note.. 04.01.2022 You were all correct! My little sneak peek was in fact a Christmas tree. The base of the tree is crocheted medallions cut from a vintage cloth, they are over laid with vintage bridal lace and then I have hand beaded lots and lots of tiny pearls and sequins. I have also done some hand stitching around the outside of the tree. I did make it into a fabric hanging but decided to mount it on a hessian coloured canvas instead of hanging from a metal hanger.... It is very sparkly and very white. It was a a little hard to get a good photo. This tree is available for sale and will be on my Etsy store later on today. However if you would like it you can direct message me. Happy Sunday.
