23.01.2022 Fantastic news for cleantech businesses on the Sunshine Coast. The ASPIRE program is a game-changer for the Circular Economy. This month CISC President Megyn Carpenter is speaking at the Crafting the Circular Economy event alongside the incredible Jacqueline Wilson-Smith. A global win for CISC member Planet Ark Power turning IKEA stores into microgrids. Congrats to Vice President Will Waters. The national cleantech event goes virtual in November with an impressive array of s...peakers. And our AGM and speed pitching networking event is coming up. If you supply building materials you could make history and supply for the Sunshine Coast City Hall. The countdown to zero-carbon worldwide event was on 10/10/2020 with many Ted talks available. There's more news and information here, but one thing's for sure, it's a great time to be in cleantech and sustainability. https://mailchi.mp/13018ff852ea/cleantech-news-1020

14.01.2022 Congratulations to the Cleantech Industries Sunshine Coast (CISC) Management Committee, recently elected at the Annual General Meeting of 19 November 2020. Megyn Carpenter (from Green Profits), re-elected for the 3rd year as President, said "I'm grateful to be re-elected as President to continue to have the opportunity to help build the local cleantech industry and to give opportunities for our local cleantech businesses to expand both locally and worldwide. I feel privileged... to stand with my fellow committee members and our business members doing fantastic work and leading the way in the cleantech industry. I'm excited about the increasing interest in cleantech and sustainability worldwide and the opportunities it presents for business." Vice President Will Waters (Planet Ark Power), Treasurer Jackie Dixon and committee members Peter Kelly (ARCPANEL), Darren Walters (Ecotekk), Mark Leckenby (ENOPTE), Leanne Hellmrich (Uni-Industries), Glenn Eales (Envirocomm) have all continued on the committee. Mal Close (Ozzikleen) has handed over the batton to Ozzikleen General Manager Michael Blee. Thankyou Mal for your contributions over the years. The CISC sectors of Clean Energy, Building Design, Circular Economy, Water Management, Cleantech Transport and Sustainable Business are all represented on the CISC committee. With at least one representative from each of the cleantech sectors, the committee has strong representation across the industry. Photo (L to R) Peter, Darren, Megyn, Will, Jackie, Mark.
