21.01.2022 Huge thanks to the dynamic duo Sean Marcia Braxton. You may already know them if you live in Clermont, as they are great supporters of whatever organisation they are involved with. We are truly grateful for their help, especially from setup up to pack up of the festival. Marica was also the person responsible for organisation of our pan competition and rock hunt. Thanks again guys you made it fun.

20.01.2022 Family fun day today and big thanks to Terracom and Link Mining for sponsoring the giant inflatable course. Thats not all that’s on offer however - a gold coin donation will get you into the C&K fun activity area, there is a rock hunt, bouncy castle for the kids, and cute baby animals to cuddle. Don’t forget our local artist Cam Frost creating local masterpieces and our raffle draws, paint pan and art auction! And that is in addition to our fabulous market and of course our... local talent entertaining during the morning. and final thanks also to our main sponsors Isaac Regional Council and Glencore Clermont Coal who continue to support us each year. 12.01.2022 It is with great pleasure that we announce that Clermont Gold and Coal Festival Committee will again host this year's Senior Citizens Christmas Luncheon. Last year's event was fully sponsored by local Business, Organisations, and Community individuals in turn funding a beautiful luncheon for 110 of our local and district Senior Citizens. To help fund this year's event we once again invite Businesses, Organisations and individuals to Sponsor a Plate. ... This will entail the sponsor contributing $25.00 per plate to fund the meal and contribute to the hall hire and drinks. The proposed date for the event is the Sunday the 8th December 11am at the Anglican Hall.

12.01.2022 This time last week this area was looking very different. The stage area showcases the amazing talent that is in Clermont. We want to say a big thanks to everyone that performed and also those who came to watch, support and enjoy them. All of this though would not have been possible however without our stage team. Incuding Danny McKay, Danny has been involved the festival since it started 20 years ago. He also organises the amazing team that set up and pack of the stage cover and sound gear for the event. Danny also gives his time and expertise to many other community groups, an all round great guy. This year Domenique Cacciola also helped us out by organising our run sheet, Domenique is fairly new to Clermont and a great asset to our community.

11.01.2022 Clermont Gold and Coal festival celebrates all that is unique about Clermont. Part of this uniqueness is the way that the community gets behind those in need. The festival has had a long tradition of donating back to the community and this year we identified Smash SMARD due to the impact SMARD has had on our community. Cam Frost came on board to also help and we are super thankful for his contribution. Now let's get to the exciting part of this post, we have been able to donate $1300 to SMASH SMARD from money raised over the festival. And thanks to Clermont Agencies CRT the sale of the 2 other artworks at the Clermont beef expo & trade display, that Cam had created raised another $360.

04.01.2022 Clermont Gold and Coal Festival does not happen without a lot of people willing to help, and sometimes it is at short notice. Huge shout out to C-Mac Solutions Pty Ltd for allowing us to use their mobile coldroom.
