23.01.2022 During spring 2019 blue-banded bees visited our Moruya garden regularly. Some of their favourite flowering plants were the blue and purple Salvias, Dianella and Westringia. I haven't seen 1 this season. Is this normal or related to the fires that burnt around 80% of Eurobodalla's bush? #bluebandedbee #nativebee

20.01.2022 Today marked 1300 native plants in the ground at the Downer micro-forest. Thor's Hammer sponsored this event and supplied a lovely bench of turpentine crafted from wharf timbers. A big thanks to Emma Hodges who wielded the electric auger to dig some deep holes. And Leah Moore who keeps going installing plants when everyone is flagging. Teachers and students helped developed the plan and now they have a new nature-based hub at their school.
