24.01.2022 Hi all! This beautiful rain we've been having is also bringing out some of the nastiest parasites around - ticks. There have been huge amounts of dogs admitted to local vets with paralysis tick complications. Some of the symptoms are paralysis tick toxin are: Uncoordination Weakness... Collapse Vomiting or retching Change of bark or meow Difficulty breathing Please search your dogs daily, and find a tick preventative that suits you. (If I find a paralysis tick while grooming - I'll remove the tick and pop it in a container and ask you to collect your pup straight away to take to the vet. (I won't continue the clip - we can reschedule your appointment to finish the groom once the vet has given the all clear).

08.01.2022 Hi wonderful people of Fb land. It's incredibly difficult to write such a personal post - but after lots and lots of soul searching, I've decided that sharing this might be beneficial to someone else fighting their own battles Mental health is an issue super close to me. It's touched the lives of so many people in my life, and obviously my own. Sometimes our brains are our own worst enemy. Sometimes putting one foot in front of the other is harder than you could have ever ...possibly imagined. The past month has truly tested me, and my body and brain decided that I needed to stop... I hadn't planned on stopping, but I literally could not pick up my phone or answer messages from either my clients or my friends and family. It was too much. I'm sorry I haven't been available and that many of you have been wondering what's going on with Cliptomania. I'm on the up and up, and will definitely be back and responding this coming Monday. Mental health seems like one of the last taboos to talk about, and to acknowledge that your going through a rough place. But it affects so many of us. It doesn't discriminate. If you're struggling - that's ok. It's not a sign of weakness. It's ok to say "No". It's ok to take a mental health day (or week or month). It's ok to put you first. You are enough. You are important. Your messages and support mean more than you could ever believe. I'm super excited to see your Furkids!

04.01.2022 Hi lovely people! There have been a few changes of late - I'm still needing to get back to a few of you. I'm sorry for the delay, and your patience is greatly appreciated. I'm going to be offering 7am appointments on certain days, starting in the next few weeks. I'm hoping this will help a few of you ... Also, my prices will be increasing by $5 per groom as of the 1st of August.. This means that if your pup previously cost you $60, they'll now cost you $65. This is still a very competitive price, and my first price increase since I opened Cliptomania three years ago. Lastly, I do try to send out reminders the day before your appointment, however sometimes life gets in the way and I'm unable to. Please write down or put your appointment time in your phone's calender. I'm afraid that I won't be able to continue grooming the dogs of repeat no-shows. If you need to reschedule - I'm only too happy to fit you in at another time and fill the booking. Once again - thanks so much for supporting a local business.
