09.01.2022 ****Update**** As I’m sure you are all well aware , stage 4 lockdown is to continue for another several weeks. With the current staged plan that was outlined today, it is unclear when dog grooming will be permitted to recommence . I’m currently in consultation with other groomers and have contacted our local MP.... If you have concerns about your dogs welfare at this stage with lack of grooming availability, could you please send me photos of your dogs with overgrown coats, matting , curled nails, eye goop, or any other issues that you have. This will will help me to consult with Vets and try to put forward an argument to resume grooming sooner , particularly for dogs who are now in desperate need and could have their health impacted. Photos in comments on this post, or to my mobile would be greatly appreciated. See more

09.01.2022 To all my beautiful Clients & Fur babies It's with a very heavy heart that I have to tell you all that as from tonight I have to close my doors due to it being stage 4 lockdown restrictions for 6 weeks I know this has come at a bad time as I've just moved into my new home and was looking forward to using my new grooming area and showing you all. For the Fur babies that were waiting for their appointment next week, I will be putting them first on my list to be groomed... in September I hope everyone can understand and I know how much this might be an inconvenience for some but please don't worry I will answer all of your questions and will try to post some grooming tips or DIY grooming videos so you can maintain your dogs coat in the meantime. I look forward to seeing you all once this is over. Stay safe everyone. Cazz x

08.01.2022 This is very sad news. I just received this off business Victoria Hi Cazz, Thank you for your message. ... The advice on pet groomers has not changed and is currently on the Business Victoria and DHHS websites. "When will pet grooming open? Pet groomers will be permitted to provide contactless service to their clients when metropolitan Melbourne enters into the Second Step. Pet owners will be able to drop off their pets to the venue, and then pick them up when the service is completed, similar to other forms of click and collect services. When can mobile pet grooming resume? Only pet groomers working out of retail facilities will be allowed to operate from the Second Step. Mobile pet groomers will be able to operate when metropolitan Melbourne moves into the Third Step." https://www.business.vic.gov.au//agriculture,-forestry-and https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/first-step-restrictions-summary Please note, home-based operations are not categorised under retail and therefore must remain closed at this time. Warm regards, BV Social Media team

07.01.2022 Good morning everyone, I hope you all are staying safe and giving your babies lots of cuddles at this strange time. Just thought I'd let everyone know what brushes I use mostly on my dogs. There are a lot more that I use but these are my favorites. First up I have the..... Pin Brush These brushes can be used to remove tangles and are gentler than the slicker because it has rounded tips to minimize scratching and skin irritation but are not as good at removing loose fur. Pin brushes are mostly useful for non-shedding dogs and dogs with curly or wooly fur or long, fine or silky fur. Slicker Brush The slicker brush is one of my favorite brushes. It comes in Large, Medium or Small. The pins on slicker brushes are quite sharp, so please try not to scratch your dogs skin. They are good for dealing with tangles and knots in medium to long fur. They are also good at removing loose fur and getting down to undercoats, so they are also useful for dogs with thick or wirey fur. This is also a great brush for double coated dogs. Slicker brushes are suitable for most coats except short haired dogs like a staffy dalmatian boxer etc. Combs Combs are great for running through the dog's coat after using a slicker or pin brush, to catch any missed tangles. Dog combs are also useful for areas like the ears or fur around the face and for curly coated dogs. Choose a narrow fine toothed comb for short fur and a wider spaced comb for long or thick fur. Combs come in various sizes, some have handles, some don't. I hope this little bit of info was helpful and encouraged you all to give it a go whilst we are in lockdown If you have any questions please don't hesitate to msg me
