18.01.2022 Catching a train in my bustle. I am excited to be on my way today to be a judge for the Champions of Cosplay Competition at Oz Comic-Con Melbourne. This event will select the Melbourne finalist that will go on to Sydney where the overall winner will represent Australia in the Crown Championships of Cosplay in Chicago in 2019. There is a very high level of workmanship, creativity and attention to detail in these outfits and I am so happy to have the chance to see them up close and meet their makers. Then I will get to enjoy the con, if you see me come and say hi :-)

14.01.2022 We had a fantastic time at the M.A.D Fashion Showcase https://www.facebook.com/events/371834076497612/ Saturday night. A big thank you to all the wonderful designers, stall holders, artists, crew and performers including Merryn Louise - Circus Artist and Mr Marmalade who made the night so special. Thanks to Carly Van Groeningen of Lyris Design who's tireless efforts made this event happen and our wonderful stage manager Emma and her fabulous team. We got to debut our new des...ign based on the myth of Circe and how she might appear in an alternate timeline. This was a collaboration with the talented Tentacle Spine and Eloquent Mx Loki who did hair, makeup and brought the character to life on stage. Also making her catwalk debut at 4 weeks old is Eleanor! This was her first fashion show ( but not her last ). Thanks to Kerry Cross for the photos. Also a big thanks to my support team/babysitting/assistants Tahlia Celenn and Stirling Gill-Chambers who kept me sane through working on a show while looking after a newly born baby! Julia Madotti showed off a quick change outfit designed and made by Clockwork Butterfly and Richard Vegas was our debonair MC. This video shows the dapper gentleman we have the pleasure to dress for his shows Mr Marmalade. It also includes four of our of our old fashioned sweet designs modelled by the amazing CherylFyfe, the stunning Eloquent Mx Loki, the stylish Stirling Gill-Chambers and the delightful Silhouettê d'Amour featuring fantastical hair by Emma Johansson Taylor and stunning makeup by Dominique Weir Make Up Artist. So lucky to work with such talent!

12.01.2022 Very excited to have delivered our recently completed Pennywise to the talented Eloquent Mx Loki who will add their impressive skills in hair and makeup to finish the look and bring it to life in performance! What a pleasure to work with people who have such a love of costume. This was a huge project but so satisfying to create this detailed, art finished outfit. I cant wait to see what amazing photos and performance it is used in. Just in time for the spookiest night of the year :-)

10.01.2022 We had a wonderful time last night at the M.A.D Fashion Showcase. I want to thank Carly Van Groeningen for all her amazing work on the event, Emma Buggy and her assistant Jackson for their usual stellar efforts organizing everyone. Also a big thank you to the tireless efforts of our crew making everything run smoothly. All the designers, traders and artists showed their shining talents and the debonair MC Mr Marmalade and glowing performer Miss Gemma Trick topped the night, ...I am very thankful to have a fantastic team behind the scenes to help get Clockwork Butterfly’s sweet creations onto the catwalk. The delicious makeup of Dominique Weir Make Up Artist combined with the luscious hair by Emma Johansson Taylor set off the outfits perfectly. Each of my individual and dynamic models brought their best to the runway. Vee Marie brought some cheeky attitude to Lemon Drop, Cheryl Fyfe worked her stylish magic on Dolly Mixture, Eloquent Mx Loki brought some decadent posing to Caramel Cream Bon Bon, Stirling Gill-Chambers rocked Humbug and Silhouettê d'Amour made a sweet show of Strawberries and Cream. Behind the scenes I was assisted by some great helpers including Alys Adele and my beautiful daughter who had her second catwalk on the night. Thank you all for being so amazing! 04.01.2022 Only a few more days until MAD Fashion Showcase 2019 and we are excited to share a sneak peak at the decadent and shimmery fabric we are using on costumes for the fabulous performers from Aerial Rigs Melbourne who will be doing a champagne pour and routine on the night.
