24.01.2022 Torquay- This week we got to take away some of our Yr7 academy members. This was their first big camp away and they have done our academy and school proud. They enjoyed their time away, strengthening relationships, trying new things and pushing themselves mentally and physically. A good way to finish off 2020 and get ready for 2021

Message our page for discount code. The Aussie hoop program registration form should be ready by tomorrow. INFO We will be running the below age groups: Girls 17/U and 12/U. Boys 17/U , 14/U and 12/U. Mixed 10/U along with our Aussie Hoop program. Friday is the deadline to get your name in a team, even if you did not participate in the squad sessions. Draft teams will go up this Monday. We would like to help organise all age group singlets so that no new orders go in this year. We hope parents don’t mind doing buy and swaps through the club. Where we play is determined by the changing Government restrictions and Basketball Victoria ruling. We hope to be playing indoor by the 9th. We should know this on the 8th, however if not, the first couple of weeks may be outside using the St Mary's School courts and the MVAC Co-op courts. AUSSIE HOOPS COLOUR COMP Reminder to Aussie hoopers to get your colouring competitions in by today at training or latest, Friday into Autopro for your chance to win the $50 Reba gift card. Please make sure to put your name age and phone number on the back of your entry. SENIORS Unfortunately, a senior season will not be going ahead at this stage There is a possibility for an all-stars match later on in the season next year. We will keep working with government restrictions to see what we can get happening. We are looking to borrow or buy senior teams singlets for the 16’s to wear in our shortened season so that we do not need to purchase any new. 17.01.2022 Yr12 Darwin Trip What a great week it has been in the NT. The 3 boys from the Robinvale Academy have experienced new things, tasted new food and visited some beautiful places. They have also made some lifetime friends and know they always have the backing of the Clontarf Foundation Australia wide. Good luck with what you choose for the future boys.

This year it was a bit different to what we are used to, not having family, friends and supporters here with us in person, but we were able to still have them along online. 11.01.2022 Friday, excitement was in the air for the Robinvale Academy and one of our members. Noah Handy, yr12 student, was selected from the Victorian region to participate in a Zoom chat with the Governor General of Australia. His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley are avid patrons of the Clontarf Foundation.... Noah said I feel pretty honoured to have been selected to represent Victoria to speak to the Governor General. This has boosted my confidence in public speaking and addressing people of higher office. I’d like to thank Clontarf for this opportunity
