25.01.2022 Yesterday I was gifted this amazing craft storage space and my wonderfully supportive husband helped put it together for me. Now I need to go through all of the amazing craft things I have stashed away in various places and create my very own making area. I’m feeling blessed and lucky and need to channel an organisation goddess to help me work out what goes where..

10.01.2022 Today hubby and I went to the new Norfolk market and met some wonderful makers. I told the lovely lady I bought this card from that she wasn’t charging enough, she stated That hours of work stitching and designing goes into her cards and here she was asking only $3, $3 for hours of work and effort!!! I know the value of creating something,... Whether it takes me minutes, hours or years I know it’s worth and it’s not about the money. However having that small amount of money to help support what I love and value helps I create because it makes me feel good from the inside and it really does reflect on the outside. When I’m not coping with life I need to create, whether it’s crafting, upcycling, gardening or baking. I am a maker. I am a fixer and each project I throw myself into is done with love, because it’s about my journey and learning while I’m creating.. It’s more than just crafting therapy. I encourage every one of you to not buy a store made card but to keep your money local and buy from a maker, a little market vendor or a home business crafter. Happy To make any card on request also because we all have special Occasions where we can’t find the right card! Today I also bought a beautiful handmade soft toy hippo but I won’t put up pics of that as the creator doesn’t want me to share her stuff online. Totally respect that!
