My fabric, a beautiful silk cotton weave from Bihar called Tussak Neps , code BTN has been digitally printed with new generation renditions of old favourite prints- the team have started laying out the meterage to start cutting a short sleeve shirt production - the puzzle begins , the Overlockers are ready threaded with contrasting neon and print orientation is considered. Love your work you mob ! I’m so happy and excited...... save all those scraps for me , I’ve got some ideas

14.01.2022 Putting my next digital print order together - anybody out there wanting anything in particular get in touch, there are so many artworks to choose from I may forget something. But the good news is I’m building an online shop , which really means an online catalog of artworks - and I will be happy not to have to dig through my crazy folder system any more! Today I am meeting with @npmarketing_darwin to discuss digital domination! Bring it on!!!!

13.01.2022 A sneaky peek of a new print coming to my shop in Darwin NT Australia soon, it’s just been pulled out of the box @the_stitching_project to see what the printer sent - a beautiful silk cotton weave with killer drape. This artwork got graphic bones of electro tower switch alter triangularity with traffic cone motif- really speaks subversive to civic development and power dressing- destined to be shirts in large sizes , the cutting began today - the scrap %100 , oh yeah there is no scrap- every little bit of this textile has a place in my art practice, I’m hanging out !! I can’t wait , I’m so excited!!

12.01.2022 I’ve just returned from a really creative workshop flow at @anindilyakwa_arts on GrooteEylandt, Northern Territory, Australia . I’m so thankful to all the people I worked with and spent time with during my stay there. FUN TASTIC ! It’s a long way to travel to that beautiful island, what. a privilege!

11.01.2022 Last week Jen came in to my little shop/studio in the #airraidarcade looking for something to wear to an Award ceremony she was attending in 6 days, someone ( thank you to that person) told her to come and see me after she had no luck finding a dress to wear in all of Darwin. We collaborated to make this bias cut #navy #black #cotton #Khardi #longdress with #distressed #edge #details #ruffles #handstitched #embellishments. Jen chose a #traditional #blockprint on #mushroo fro...m #rajasthan to #pop the hemline , I made a #belt to match. After the award she wrote to me Bit hard to see here, I bought two beautiful dragon fly brooches pinned to the sash to hold on both sides of hips. And everyone loved my dress, could see it was an original design, well fitted and where did I buy, etc. thanks so much, I felt so comfy on the night and I can't wait to wear again. 07.01.2022 Any body who has worked with me will know that I am a complete hoarder. I cannot throw my fabric scraps , it’s ridiculous! Which is why I love manufacturing and collaborating with Fiona Wright and @the_stitching_project . This is today’s challenge, sorting the off cuts and scrap produced during my latest short sleeve shirt production. Rekha is seen here sorting through the design patterns, readying the scrap for the next level of manufacturing- baby blankets, quilts, journal books, bolero and little shift dress! Rekha has been with the @the_stitching_project for 2 years and has been described as a super power who understands creative aesthetic ! Bahut Acha!!!!!!!
