25.01.2022 ***All spots filled - thanks for contacting us quickly! It’s easy to feel like things are on hold til restrictions ease, but several teenagers in our town have been planning ahead - and it’s paying off! Over the last month CNH has helped local teenagers apply for Hepburn Shire Council Youth Quick Response Grants. This great activity is one of the ideas that has been supported so far. There are only 5 places so if you have a young person who is interested let us know quickly as it will fill fast! Suitable for 12 - 18 years and COVID-safe so it’s good to start soon. Thanks also to support from #ArtAttack. #hepburnshire

23.01.2022 Trick or treating might not be the thing this year, but that doesn't mean you can't get your cape on, dress up and win a prize. Every entrant will receive a lolly (even if we have to post it to you lol!).

19.01.2022 Have you missed seeing the smiles and character lines on people's faces over recent months? Well we've got good news. If you haven't heard, the Victorian Government has just announced that you won't have to wear masks outside - providing you can safely socially distance - as of midnight tonight! That means if you are outside, and not in a crowd, you'll be seeing everyone's cheeky grin as you pass. Or, you could come along to the Laughter Lines exhibition opening next Saturday - Sunday (28th - 29th November; then again on 5th - 6th December) at the Senior Citizens' Centre and see the humour, strength and character of many of our local residents celebrated in this COVID-19 inspired exhibition.

14.01.2022 While Halloween this year might not be quite the same, our team of Open House volunteers have spent today making sure there is a little bit of whimsy with each of the 60+ meals that get delivered this week. Halloween toppers to go on cupcakes for Tuesday’s deliveries. Well done guys!!

13.01.2022 If you have 5-10 minutes up your sleeve, take the time to fill in this survey before Friday. Why? Because the data from this survey can be used to support health and wellbeing initiatives in our community. The more Clunes responses - the better!

09.01.2022 Staying apart, keeps us together is an important safety message that we are all hearing. But locally the question we've been asked by many, is how can I help? Here are just a few simple ways you can tell someone we are in this together in Clunes.

07.01.2022 What do you do when the power is out and you’re at a loose end? You pop up to Neighbourhood House for our last Well-being Day and indulge in a spot of yoga, tai chi, story-time or first aid (heat stress). Can’t turn your computer on to book in? No stress. Just pop on up anyway .

06.01.2022 The generosity of the team at Lambley’s Nursery always feeds the soul at our #FoodisFree stall each week. But this week, with RUOK day coming up on Thursday, they’ve shown us a simple way to touch the heart as well. Flowers. It’s an idea someone else has had too, with that gorgeous bouquet of wattle. We hope these blooms adorn someone’s table soon and remind them that people are thinking of them, even when we aren’t around the table with them.
