21.01.2022 After many hours of deliberation I have made the decision to temporarily close the barbers as of close of business today. We need to flatten the curve and the only way to do this is to ensure we are practicing social distancing. Both the Prime Minister and the Victorian Premier have outline that there are only four reasons to leave your house which are for essential supplies, medical appointments, exercise and work, so in turn I feel it is only responsible to close to ensure we all follow these guidelines. But don’t worry, we will be back when it is safer to shear your overgrown crop or who knows..... you might just love your new long locks! 19.01.2022 Don’t forget that everyone in Victoria (unless exempt as per DHHS guidelines) is required to wear a face mask. No face mask = no entry. Due to new Stage 3 restrictions and the introduction of face masks Clyde St Barber will no longer be offering beard trims for the time being. Please use the hand sanitiser available upon entry. No more than 2 people waiting, if waiting chairs are full you will need to wait outside. (Please just pop your head in so we know you are ther...e). We will also need to continue taking your name and contact number for tracing purposes. At this stage there will be no change in trading hours. 19.01.2022 UPDATED HOURS OF OPERATION!! We will now be reverting back to our usual hours of operation with some minor tweaks. Walk In will be available Thursday through to Saturday with appointments being available every day (although if there are free spots on Tuesday and Wednesday then Walk In’s will be available). 10.01.2022 Great news!! As of this week Clyde St Barber will be able to offer walk-ins as well as appointments on a Friday and Saturday morning (Wednesday’s and Thursday’s will still be appointment only). Due to the restrictions from the Government we still will have to adhere to the 4m2 rule so we ask that only the person having the haircut attend the shop (unless of course a support person is needed). We also ask that if the waiting chairs are occupied that you either wait outside maintaining social distancing rules and expectations or come back at another time/make an appointment. Thank you so much for all your understanding at this time. You guys make it all worthwhile!

Due to the settling of the spread of Covid-19 Clyde St Barber will be reopening on the Thursday 23rd of April! Our hours will look slightly different whilst Victoria is categorised as in Stage 3 restrictions. This is subject to change, and we will let you know ASAP if any changes. 02.01.2022 COVID-19 update. From the latest information from ScoMo it appears that we barbers are deemed still essential. They are imposing strict rules for us to follow such as no client is to be in the shop for a period of longer than 30minutes. This means that you are unable to wait inside the shop for your haircut. You may still utilise the outdoor benches providing you are maintaining your social distancing practices. How this will work in reality I am not entirely sure, so please bare with us while we navigate this strange world we now live in. I will endeavour to keep business open as usual and will notify you of any changes to any opening hours as these decisions are made. Thank you for all your support in this tough time.
