It is non-expensive . It is basically about white washing of walls. But , the colour in this case fades away very easily. Emulsion This painting is preferable for homes where children and pets are their . Best part of this paint is that the mark on the walls can be easily removed and erased with a wet cloth. Enamel Amongst home interior painting , enamel is the best one . It is both hard marks and water resistant . It is the most expensive colour and can applied on both metal and wooden surfaces. Emulsion The best thing about emulsion painting is that the colour does not fade with change in weather. It also prevents the growth of fungi on its surface. Cement paint It is best for places where weather changes frequently. Cement paint should be aplied in places where hard and heavy works are carried out. Enamel and Emulsion are the different types of oil-based painting Water-based paints The surface dries up quickly in comparison to Oil-based painting. Toxic emission and odour level is also less than oil-based painting. It is usually used for interior and exterior walls.The surface can be cleaned easily after the painting.Most of the market paints are water based. Enamel painting, Distemper, Cement are the different types of water-based painting. The paint brands used most commonly are Taubmans, Dulux & Solver.
