23.01.2022 Another weekend of the CM & GR Netball Academy along with Inspire Netball Group. Injury management and asistanace with skills and drills, it was Osteo Lou’s turn to cross code back to netball for the weekend. Congratulations to all girls involved, and thank you to AFL Central Murray for providing the opportunities for netballers, coaches and businesses to be involved. Invaluable.

21.01.2022 INTRODUCING DR. JESS JOBLING (OSTEO) We officially welcome Jess as our newest practitioner to the Central Mallee Osteo team. Available for limited essential consults over the Xmas period, with online bookings available from the 4th of January. GOOD STORY You may already recognise Jess. She’s been assisting in reception over the last 2 years when not studying at RMIT University.... It truly is a wonderful story. 11 years ago, Jess sat in the corner of Lou’s first ever CMO treatment room in Berriwillock. Originally from Lalbert and tagging along to watch with family members, she was bright-eyed with a sweet smile. We saw Jess again for work experience, then again in year 12 for treatment during exams. That all seems like an eternity of waiting ago. Fast forward to now and she’s gone full circle. As she returns home to Swan Hill to live in 2021, we finally get to appreciate the value and purpose of investing so wholeheartedly in our local school kids, providing them opportunities, and supporting their allied health aspirations. To provide mentorship and support over their education with a pathway to returning home as a professional, in turn, bolstering allied health medical services and support to locals in our community. We believe this is best done by our own people, and we sure have obtained a wonderful practitioner back at home in Jess. We’re excited for all that she will continue to bring to our team and our community in the future.

20.01.2022 There wouldn’t be many members of the community that are not feeling heartbreak at this time, with the loss of a beloved police officer and great man, Leading Senior Constable Dennis Cox. We extend our love, strength and support to immediate family and friends of Dennis, as well as extended friends, community clubs, work colleagues, community members, businesses and acquaintances - near and far - a vast network that Dennis was an integral, valued and special part of. There is... a special reason people gravitate towards, stay and serve small communities. You’re never alone, and just like in good times, hardship can be shared and supported. It’s very touching to see the love and support that the community packs and rallies around each other during difficult times. We are thinking of each and every one of you. Rest In Peace Dennis. Louise has worked with a significant number of local clubs and was recently accredited as one of the first Advanced Sports Osteopaths in Australia with advanced rehabilitation knowledge, return to play protocols, sport-specific physical development, and injury risk assessment/reduction education. 16.01.2022 Mum, we made the news. As previously mentioned: We’re all for the improvement of rail crossings across the state, but feel an opportunity was missed to have a collaborative approach on this one for the sake of pedestrian safety. On a day to day basis out our front clinic windows, we see hundreds of locals, visitors and tourists driving, waking, running, riding, scooting, pram pushing, towing, dog walking, trudging to school, and returning home from work - navigating and t...raversing the Gray Street rail crossing and tracks. Thanks to the ABC for their contacting after we raised the issue last week. We understand it’s a complex issue, but appreciate any effort to enhance safety for all cars, trains and pedestrians.
