21.01.2022 #saturday Think about what it is you really want to achieve and who do you know has achieved that goal. This week we have decided to look for a new house. Would I go and ask advice on Real Estate from a new kid on the block or would I ask advice from an expert?... I am shocked when I hear middle-aged women taking advice from male trainers fresh out of a cert 4 course. With an aging female body, there are no textbook answers. My wise old day always said, "you do an honest days work to make in your field of expertise. If need a service that you know little about, you go pay an experienced person to do what they are an expert at". This advice I forgot when I tried to grout our bathroom. What a bloody mess I made. This "money-saving" lesson cost me twice as much time and money.; I am not taking marriage advice from single friends I'm sorry. Nor am I taking training advice from anyone with less than 15 years experience and lacks the understanding of skeletal variations and tried and tested flexible eating. Do your research and find an expert with endless amounts of success stories and happy client reviews. Be strong enough to say no to quick fixes and clever marketing. 10.01.2022 I AM BACK! Happy New Year to you all. Priorities! ... On our drive home from our wedding in October, I suggested to my husband Chris Rice, to put our house on the market immediately. We knew it was something we had to do as I had been holding onto not only our home but my A Ray of fitness/ Inner Strength Coaching Studio. For 10 weeks our main priority was to paint and prepare for the sale of our property. On the 21st of December, our property was exchanged and we secured a beautiful home in Caves Beach. Along the way, we secured not only a new family home, but we also did some much-needed healing with our extended family dynamics which paths a healthy road moving forward. I am a strong believer in being out of balance for a short period of time to achieve an important goal. It is now time to refocus my attention back onto my passion for facilitating change in peoples lives through the Inner Strength Coaching Healthy Mind and Body programs. I am most excited to share my love of fitness in a Darby Street Studio starting next week and continue my coaching online. Happy New Year my friends. Remember, happiness is an inside job.
