21.01.2022 Dry skin brushing is incredible for your overall health & wellness. In addition to exfoliating your skin, it is a great way to boost circulation, drain your lymphatic system, and remove toxins, all the while stimulating cell turnover. Dry skin brushing helps break down fatty deposits within the skin, releasing waste and reducing the appearance of cellulite, eliminating excess fluid which can make skin appear lumpier. ... It also encourages lymphatic stimulation encouraging blood flow and rids the body of any toxic build up. Source a body brush with fine plant bristles for dry skin brushing, that way, it won’t be too scratchy. Allow around 5 minutes before your shower. Start at the soles of your feet, use the brush in long upwards, circular movements with a gentle but firm pressure. Progress from the lower body to the arms, hands, back, abdomen & chest.
