16.01.2022 Hope and Healing Social Work and Counselling is committed to suicide prevention through early intervention. With increasing rates of mental illness in young peo...ple and suicide being the leading cause of death in this demographic, Hope and Healing Social Work and Counselling offers bulk billed therapy to all young people aged 12 - 21 when referred with a valid mental health care plan. This means that there is absolutely no cost to you to access quality mental health care when you need it most. Asking for help is a learned behaviour, if we can learn the skills at a young age to ask for help, if we can learn at a young age that it's ok to ask for help, well - what an amazing asset to have when we are older. So if you would like to access bulk billed counselling all you need to do is go and see your GP to obtain a mental health care plan. All the details they will need to create this plan are on my website. Once they have made it, give me a call, text, send me an email or a message via social media and we will book in an appointment. There are no long wait lists, I always try to get you an appointment within two weeks of you making contact - unless you are only available at a specific time and that time is filled. My office is located in Nambour and I work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The only conditions are that bulk billing is only available for in office appointments and I still apply my cancellation fee of $25 if you don't cancel your appointment with 48 hours notice (unless there are exceptional circumstances). Let me know if you have any questions and feel free to share this with anyone you know who might benefit from it. #hopeandhealingswc
