25.01.2022 It was a hard slog this arvo cutting then digging out all of these yuccas! They had far outgrown the bed they were in and were pushing out the brickwork. Took a chainsaw, a mattock and a lot of effort to get those huge roots out! Keen to see the beds with some new plants and soil!

14.01.2022 Busy morning aerating and top dressing a lawn in Waratah with my assistant, Rosie Aerating your lawn is very important when the soil becomes hard and compacted. On smaller lawns it can be done with a fork, as I’ve done here, and is done by making lots of small holes and gently breaking up the compacted soil to allow the lawn to better absorb nutrients, to drain more effectively, and avoid numerous problems and pests. Topdressing involves spreading nutrient rich topsoil over... an established lawn, in order to feed it, compensate for poor soil underneath, or even out holes in the ground. In this case, parts of the lawn have been topdressed, leaving the tips of the turf exposed, and other bare patches of the yard have been given a light covering of soil, ready for new seeds. We can give advice on what is right for your lawn, and deliver bulk materials to the job, and apply them in a way that suits the needs of your lawn

14.01.2022 Pretty happy with the outcome of this weed control from a few weeks ago very stubborn infestation of pennywort, unable to spray as it is right through other plants. Hand painted concentrated glyphosate on the leaves has absolutely demolished it! Now to remove the dead stuff and stay on top of it.
