Port Douglas Carnivale has become a mecca for lovers of gourmet delights with the annual 10-day celebration offering sought-after celebrity chef events, food demonstrations and sampling of local produce. Foodie events such as the Sheraton Mirage Longest Lunch..., the Seafood Extravaganza, Zinc Chandon Lunch, Palates of Port and more will return in 2015 along with many more favourites. The Family Beach Day will again feature the amazing Yabusame Japanese horseback archery tournament, a colourful and exciting spectacle that thrilled viewers when it made its Australian debut last year.
