07.01.2022 We've got an avid fishing community here, and ethical, responsible fishing is key to sustainable interactions with our oceans The National Department of Primary Industries - @nsw_dpi - has some great info and tips on how to participate safely and responsibly in one of the oldest experiences on the planet - Only catch sufficient fish for your immediate needs. Release all others using best practice catch and release techniques. Remember all fish, including scavengers, ...are important to the ecosystem. Dispose of all litter and fish waste responsibly. Reduce wildlife injuries by attending your lines and avoid bird feeding areas.
