15.01.2022 Hi Everyone, As most of you will be aware; the coronavirus (COVID-19) has just been declared a global pandemic. This means the rate and spread of infection is e...xpected to dramatically increase in all countries. Its important to remember, there is no need to panic. For most of us the symptoms are expected to be much like a cold or flu and the average healthy person has an EXTREMELY low risk of serious complications. However, this is not the case for our elderly and immune suppressed members of society. Because of this, I have decided I will not be seeing any clients exhibiting cold or flu symptoms eg. fever, cough, runny nose etc. if you are unwell, please contact me to arrange another appointment. The World Health Organisation believes we can control the spread of (COVID-19) by simple hand hygiene, cough and sneeze etiquette and staying home when you are unwell. I understand this will inconvenience people. However, these actions are necessary to protect our vulnerable members of society. Thankyou for understanding

Thousands of Victorians suffer an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest every year. Tragically, 1 in 10 survive. When a bystander performs CPR, a person is twice as likely to survive. If an AED is used, this survival rate dramatically increased from one in 10 to seven in 10 people surviving. That’s why it’s vital that bystanders act quickly in the first critical minutes of a cardiac arrest. This 5 minutes video below could make all the difference to help you save a life. Stick to the basics. It isn’t complicated. Familiarise yourself with the locations of AEDs in your community. You never know when you be required to help save a life.
