12.01.2022 On Sunday 2 August the Victorian Government declared a state of disaster and announced that metropolitan Melbourne will head into to Stage Four restrictions from 6.00 pm Sunday 2 August. We therefore remain closed until further notice. Stage Four restrictions mean: Only one person per household may leave the house to shop for essential items within 5km of home ... You may complete one hour of daily exercise within 5km of home with only one other person A curfew from 8 pm 5 am is in place where you may only leave the home to give or receive care or to go to/from work. We know this is disappointing and truly miss seeing you in centre. But the government is making decisions with the best interests of our community in mind, and we must all work together to reduce the spread. To find out more about COVID-19, please visit the DHHS website (www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/coronavirus). We will provide further information as new information comes to light.

10.01.2022 Today, Life Saving Victoria released the Drowning Report for 2019/2020. Tragically, there were 34 drowning deaths last year across Victoria. We’re facing a summer where Victorians have had limited or no exposure to waterways and aquatic recreation in almost a year. It’s so important to be prepared before a day out in or around the water. Be prepared and check conditions and forecasts, understand swimming ability, swim between the red and yellow flags at a patrolled location where possible and supervise children at all times. Stay tuned later in the week for information on our 2021 Swimming Lessons program.
