25.01.2022 We are re-opening today, Thursday 11th of June, with strict Covid precautions and social distancing. New Hours ***10am - 3pm***** We currently only have between 100 & 200 butterflies that have emerged since restrictions have eased, with hundreds in pupae waiting to emerge, so please be patient and understanding whilst our butterflies complete their life cycle in their own time. If you are just wanting to see buttetflies, we suggest waiting another month before visiting u...s to allow the butterfly numbers to grow. The dinosaur forest will be open, & the dinosaur show will be on (If its not raining), the baby dinosaurs will be available for photos, and the maze will be open. The bug room will be open. ***there will be NO keeper talks, No Fairy interactions, No baby dinosaur Interactions during restrictions**** The cafe will be open for take-aways only, with very few tables available for sit down. We encourage you to bring your own picnic rugs to enjoy your takeaways on our beautiful grounds . Umbrellas will no longer be supplied, please bring your own if its raining. We do sell ponchos if you need. We strongly encourage card only transactions, and prefer not to handle cash during this pandemic. We are limited by the number of visitors to our park, this is out of our control. Please factor this in to your planning. We are excited to see you all again, and may the magic shine again. ****Please do not visit if :- 1. You have been advised to self isolate until after your 14 days is complete. 2. 21.01.2022 ROAR-SOME Breaking News We are beyond excited, our dinosaur scientists have had a major breakthrough at the Butterfly house. They have successfully isolated dinosaur DNA from ancient Amber, and are recreating 2 more baby dinosaurs. The genomic sequence indicates one egg is a baby T-rex, and the other egg is a Parasaurolophus... We are incubating the dinosaur eggs, keeping them protected from Gerald and Big Blue, and we cant wait till they hatch. There is enough lawn to socially distance, bring picnic rugs for added comfort. The Caf is offering takeaways now, so grab a takeaway coffee and scones and enjoy them down at the dinosaur show. Our outdoors Dinosaur forest with 6 life sized dinosaurs is sure to impress regardless of age, and help recharge your batteries. ... We have a gorgeous section of forest thats been used as a garden dump for years so we started the mammoth task of cleaning it up.... so we can build a brand new attraction, when the covid pandemic is over. We managed to save some of the wood to build a wooden cubby for the kids.... So win, win today. Thanks for honking and waving as you drive past :-) We love you coffs

06.01.2022 Peter Rabbit moved in here about 6 weeks ago. We tried to find out if he was lost but no one claimed him, lucky us as we adore him. Peter Rabbit rules the maze now, Is super friendly and loves living at the butterfly house. So if you see Peter Rabbit in the maze, make sure you say hello. If you have a carrot he loves them.

02.01.2022 Construction started today outside the Butterfly House Cafe. The kids area is expanding, we can't wait to hear more squeals of laughter as our youngest visitors have fun out doors. This area should be complete this week.... construction is continuing tomorrow... Once this project is done we can focus on the next attraction, the dinosaur rides.... Can anyone spot Peter Rabbit in these photos? He came over to have a sticky beak and see what we were doing to his park...... all we could hear was "wats up doc?"
