Incorporated the flowers that I loved so much that were sent to me by my dear girlfriend of 50 years when my mum passed and 2 A card that was easy for people to read and 3 would be suitable for both weddings and funerals. I think my daugter did a great job.

We also made a point of thanking their parents as if they had not been so loved and nurtured by them in the first place they would not have been the man and woman who stood before us.

05.01.2022 Such a beautiful experience when a young Aboriginal man thanked me for my words after my presentation of the wedding of two gorgeous souls and cultures- Aborginal and Fijian. This was my opening ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY and I meant every single word. "I speak on behalf of us all as we acknowledge and pay our respects to the Gumbaynggir, Dunghatti and Bunjalung people. We recognise their long history on this land, the land they call mother, and we are grateful for the care they have given to her for thousands of years. We pay our respects to the Elders past, present and future for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and hopes of Aboriginal Australia.
