18.01.2022 Introducing our wonderful 2020 Pup Cup Judge - Annett Whitelum! Annett is a passionate pet stylist and the owner of Turners & Pooch Pet Salon est. 2003. She is a self taught groomer and has travelled Australia and the USA to attend seminars hosted by the best dog groomers from around the world. In 2006 she became one of Australia’s first Internationally Certified Master Groomers and then in 2011 one of Australia’s first Certified Feline Master Groomers.... Annett started competing in dog grooming competitions in 2004 and is a multi-award winning pet stylist. Many wins and placings made it possible for Annett to be selected to represent Australia at 4 consecutive World Grooming Championships during 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2015 and team captain in 2017. Now retired from competitive grooming, Annett thoroughly enjoys judging grooming competitions and is an active member within the grooming industry. From Jazz’s perspective: Annett is one of the most humble, kind and caring people I have met on the grooming circuit. At one competition I was stacking a dog incorrectly for photos and out of all the people there, it was Annett that came forward and showed me how. As little as that gesture was at the time; it meant a lot, as she didn’t make me feel silly. I have watched her interact with others at competitions and she cheers them on and is very supportive of newcomers. With Annett’s expertise, knowledge and kind heart, she will be an amazing asset to our 2020 Pup Cup

15.01.2022 With the successful growth of this wonderful event I am excited to announce that there are two amazing people making the Pup Cup the best one yet! I am proud to welcome to The Pup Cup 2020 Team, Bethany Aberdour & Emily Petersen I thank both of these wonderful groomers from the bottom of my heart with taking on massive roles for this year. ... Together we are multi- award winning groomers that have travelled all over Australia to attend seminars and grooming competitions. We all share a passion for becoming better pet stylists as there is always something new to learn and someone new to meet. Our goal is to create a welcoming, community-feel, and fresh approach to those competing - especially our newbies! Emily has the role of communicating effectively with our exhibitors and sponsors. She will be on site over seeing the Expo and Stage Presentations. Our Expo is expanding and we have a large stage at our new venue. This gives pet professionals and pet related businesses the opportunity to showcase their brands, products and services to pet stylists and the public. Bethany will be running the grooming competition ring. She’ll calm those nerves with her bubbly personality and assist contestants with set up locations, helping stack dogs for photos, time keeping and presenting awards to competitors. As for myself, my role is everything on screen for 2020. I will be keeping everything up to date on our dedicated website and facebook page. My beautiful family is growing and I will be welcoming our second little person around Pup Cup time. Great things happen all at once!
