25.01.2022 The border is open! Today we celebrate the fantastic efforts of everyone from Victoria and New South Wales, which has allowed for the NSW/VIC border restriction...s to be lifted. You can once again cross the mighty Murray River from New South Wales into Victoria's High Country. There's a number of border crossings that connect NSW with the Upper Murray region of the High Country. You can once again explore these scenic crossings at: Bringenbrong, between Corryong and Khancoban, where you’ll find an ode to the mighty Murray Cray. Tintaldra, where you'll find a Murray Cod sculpture perched on the border. Bellbridge near Albury, where the steel truss Bethanga Bridge carries the Riverina Highway across Lake Hume. Plus several quiet single lane crossings around the backroads of the Upper Murray.
