12.01.2022 Did someone say Face Mask? Covid-19 Update* Since Monday 30th @cold_xpress_ has been a Face Mask compulsory site! Every staff member in every department has been given a disposable Mask, as these were becoming hard to find we looked up some other masks, ones we could somehow wash and re use, then we come across these washable and re usable masks by @australianmerchco ! I can’t believe how good they turned out! They may not stop you from getting the virus however it certa...inly reduces the risk and exposure, and that’s what we are about. Reducing risks as much as possible to ensure the safety to all our staff and customers. As of mid next week every staff member will be wearing our new face masks, delivery drivers who come to our site and do not have a mask will be given one to keep for them selves, we see it as another way to reduce risks coming in and leaving our site! 06.01.2022 2020 RECAP There is one word that comes to mind when I think of the year 2020 at Cold Xpress, and that word is ADAPTIVE. There is no doubt that 2020 was a very challenging year for us all, some more than others, but we all had to make changes one way or another. ... When covid hit Victoria, we had to stop, go back and look at how we do things and see how we could do it better, more cost effectively and most importantly how can we take advantage of this situation. We saw an opportunity to grow a side of our business 3 years ago we never thought we would, and this side of our business played a huge part in our growth and sustainability in 2020. The way we as a team were able to adapt and take on new challenges while faced with all the challenges covid brought was amazing, a massive credit to our team. With our new automation Converyor belt being turned on in 2020 and our pick to light automation being implemented in 2021 we are very excited for further growth next year and look forward to many more exciting changes as well as expanding our coverage for our loyal customers in 2021.
