17.01.2022 A huge Rural Fire thankyou to Nestlé - Over 1 tonne of coffee on the way to brigades and Firecomm’s As part of Nestlé Professional Bushfire Relief Efforts, Nest...lé have designed a special tin as a gesture of thanks to local heroes; Australia’s volunteers who are bringing the Australian community spirit to life during the devastating fires. 3 million cups of ‘Thank you’ coffee are being donated in addition to other Foodbank donations previously made. 6,000 special edition ‘Thank you’ tins will be donated to a number of volunteer-led organisation throughout the fire affected regions, with over 1,000 x 1kg tins of NESCAFÉ BLEND 43 being donated to Rural Fire Brigades in Queensland through the RFBAQ. These tins were manufactured at the large Nestlé factory in Gympie. Each Rural Fire Service Area Office across Queensland will receive the 1kg tins and brigades will receive the coffee when visited by RFSQ staff for training and support or brigades can call into their local RFSQ Office to collect their gift from Nestlé. Additionally, all Fire Communication Centre’s across Queensland will also receive coffee as a way of acknowledging the 24 hour, 7 day a week support that they provide to Rural Fire Brigades. Again, a huge thankyou to Nestlé for thinking of the 30,000 Rural Fire Brigade members who defend 93% of Queensland.

08.01.2022 LOST IN THE CHAOS IN THE USA On New Year’s Day, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi introduced a resolution into the House setting out rules for the 117th Congress. Sect...ion two includes changes to the standing rules. During the next two years, new gender-inclusive language will outlaw such terms as father, mother, son, daughter, brother, sister, uncle, aunt and so on. How chilling is this? That's the American Parliament going 100% PC nuts under the Democrats. And often Australia follows US trends. But not for me, I can assure you!! See more
