24.01.2022 A steady hand, lots of patience and the right glasses were needed to cut these two pieces for the 1931 hot Rod Ford Roadster.
20.01.2022 So, the moment has arrived. The big reveal of my latest toy build.(well it's more a model that a toy). Enjoy the photos.
19.01.2022 I am at the painting stage of the first of the series of puzzles for little tots. Can you guess what it is by looking at the photo? You are looking at the back of it.

19.01.2022 Three more puzzles for little tots completed. A tortoise, a rabbit and a patridge in a pear tree.
18.01.2022 Finally finished the motor trike and trailer. This is one of those toys that I consider is more of a model rather than a play toy. Enjoy the pics. I won't be doing anymore toy builds for a while as I finally have a date for my hand surgery. The recovery time will be about six weeks. My surgery is scheduled for next Tuesday.
16.01.2022 About to start another toy build. This time it is a tiered racing ramp for Hot Wheels cars. I will also make some little nondescript cars to go with it. First job is to mill the timber to size.
15.01.2022 Now that all of the parts are made, painting is under way before varnishing and then finally assemble the model.
14.01.2022 Unfortunately I cannot finish the last three jigsaw puzzles at the moment as I am waiting on some sanding straps for my scroll saw to arrive. They are coming from the USA so they will be quite a while arriving. So, meanwhile, I have decided to push on to the next toy build until the sanding straps arrive. The next toy build is to be a 1931 Hot Rod Ford Roadster. Lots of parts and lots of precision cutting on the scroll saw, therefore, lots of patients required. Watch this space.
13.01.2022 I have started on the series of puzzles for tots. All will be revealed shortly.
12.01.2022 Loft bed is nearly finished being sealed, primed and undercoated ready for a top coat. Also the ladder has been designed and built ready for painting and installing once the bed is in place in the spare room.
12.01.2022 Here are all three photos
12.01.2022 Nearly there. Another couple of days should see it finished.
10.01.2022 Had a review of my hand today following my surgery on October 27th. I am able to get back into the toymaking. So I am starting with A Combine Harvester. Parts are cut, sanded and ready to paint and glue together. Tis a little complex, so I will be taking my time to get a good outcome.
09.01.2022 Made a start on the 1931 hotrod today. Patterns are all cut out and stuck to timbers for scroll sawing.
09.01.2022 Loft bed is in place in the spare bedroom. Instead of permanently attatching the ladder I am going to put hooks on it so that it can be easy removed and stored away.
08.01.2022 And yet another finished being made.
07.01.2022 The trailer for my latest toy build, the motor trike and trailer, is finished. The trike is half way there. Enjoy the pics.
05.01.2022 Timber all milled, patterns all stuck on and ready to cut out the parts for the motor trike and trailer.
03.01.2022 Loft bed is progressing fine. Ran out of timber for the slats. Also I have to design and build a ladder for it.
03.01.2022 Completed making another puzzle.
03.01.2022 Loft bed is completed and disassembled and in the spare room ready for reassembling. Mattress arrives on Friday.
03.01.2022 Next toy build is a motor trike and trailer.
02.01.2022 I am well on the way with building my latest toy build. Although this one I would consider it more a display model rather than a child's toy. There are a lot of delicate parts in it which I am carefully making and refining so that it all fits together nicely. As you can see in the photo, still lots more work to do on it. Oh yes! Did mention that it is a 1931 Hot Rod Ford Roadster.
