24.01.2022 Colleges Presentation Night and Final meet of the 2019/20 season is Friday, 13 March.

24.01.2022 We hope everyone has had a great Christmas break. We'll be back next week, Friday 31st January, but in the meantime a reminder that the 2020 Nordic Sport Met West Regional Championships will be held at Ipswich LAC on Sat 8th and Sun 9th February. Athletes can enter up to five events for only $15. Registrations close @ 9:00am on Monday 27th January, so you only have a couple of days to register. 23.01.2022 A little rain about but not enough to cancel so we are forging ahead tonight.

23.01.2022 Presentation night this Friday. Free pizza, activities and every child receives a certificate outlining their personal best performances over the season. Plus we will announce our Age Champions and the Most Improved athlete for each age group. Look forward to seeing you there.

23.01.2022 Colleges Centre Championships begin this Friday and run for the next three weeks. The rain has been good but let’s hope we can get some sport in for the next few weeks.

22.01.2022 Welcome to the 2019/2020 season :-) Following the AGM we have a full committee, with Chris, Stacey & Colin returning, and Tegan, Jai and Rachel joining the committee. We also had offers for assistance from parents who couldn't attend the AGM, and we will appreciate all assistance during the season. The first meet of the season will be Friday 18th October @ 5:00pm. Registrations are now available online at http://collegesla.org.au/. If you have difficulty retrieving your us...ername and password, it could be that we have a different email address for you, as we often have two mailboxes for a family but only one will be active for the registrations. Please contact us through [email protected] if you have issues and we can advise how to proceed. Fees remain the same as last year, $130 per athlete and $70 per tiny tot. You can trial for the first two weeks @ $10 per athlete per week, and the trial fee is deducted from the full registration fee if you continue. Look forward to seeing you for the new season.

21.01.2022 Sausage sizzle on today at Karalee Woolworths to raise money for two local junior athletes Kirra and Elliott who have been selected to represent Australia in athletics. They started with Colleges Little Athletics, so come down and support them with a snag and a drink.

16.01.2022 Our reading of the radar suggest the rain will be gone by 5ish so we’re going to try and get the session in tonight.

15.01.2022 AGM 2020 Result We had insufficient numbers to hold our AGM again this week. According to by-laws, because it was a second meeting, we were able to proceed without a quorum. Unfortunately, we were unable to secure a Centre Manager for the upcoming season. Colin McInnes and Stacey Rogerson (both without children in the centre) have volunteered to assist to make up the core members of our committee. However, unless we can fill the position of Centre Manager, the Colleges Lit...tle Athletics Centre will have to fold. We did secure some additional assistance for the new Centre Manager with three others filling minor positions on the committee so some assistance will be forthcoming for whoever takes on the Centre Manager role. You can contact us via email or PM for a list of Centre Manager tasks. The position needs to be filled by Friday 11th September, so we can make preparations for the new season in October.

13.01.2022 Sorry for the delay, it has taken us a while to jump back in here to say thanks. Centre Manager, Chris, would like to thank everyone for their help throughout the season just passed. Thanks to WestMAC staff for keeping the grounds in good shape, despite the lack of and overabundance of rain. Thanks to all parents who helped out with Tiny Tots. Thanks to all who helped out setting up and packing up.... Thanks to those who unselfishly take their kids and others through the sessions for each week. Thanks especially to all committee members for their continued help and support throughout the season. Thanks to all of our kids for being so wonderful. Congratulations to all Age Champion and Most Improved Winners for the 2019/20 season. Especially to Ryan and Lori, our Club's most improved make and female athletes. Keep your eyes open for the AGM. We may need to be creative about how we structure it.

09.01.2022 Thanks for a great season. Congratulations to all of our athletes. Special congratulations to all Age Champion and Most Improved winners especially to the Centres most improved, Zoey and Callum.

05.01.2022 Amongst the new ways of doing things in these Covid days, it appears that creating a Facebook event and emails are not as efffective a form of communication as we hoped. The AGM tonight did not have sufficient numbers to hold the meeting, so we will try again next Wed 2nd Sep @ 7:00pm. We will advise a new link for next week, and hope to see a few people online then.

01.01.2022 Colleges Presentations this Friday evening. It doesn't matter if you have not attended all of your sessions. If you enrolled at the beginning of the season last year you will receive a medallion and a certificate. Trophies are also awarded to Most Improved and our Age Champions. The most improved can be from your results in the first half of the season, so come along. Let us know if you’re coming so we can order enough pizza and drinks!
