23.01.2022 CLUB POLICY AND PROCEDURE REVIEW Our club recently completed a review of our policies and procedures. In the past, our club relied on the policies and procedures established by our governing body; Bathurst District Football (BDF); in circumstances where our club did not. The Club Committee believes that it is important for our club to have our own policies and procedures in place, and communicate and promote these clearly to all members. As a result of our review, we conc...luded that Collegians Soccer Club need to: 1. Develop a Member Protection Policy. This outlines how your club meets its obligations to provide a safe environment and to maintain responsible behaviour and fair decision-making; 2. Expand our Code of Conduct Policy to include codes for Coaches, Players, Spectators and Administrators, as well as Interaction with Children Guidelines and a Team Selection Policy. 3. Establish clear disciplinary procedures. This would clearly state who is responsible for each step of complaint and disciplinary procedures and how these are handled. The Club Committee have addressed these needs by drafting a number of new policies, and we are currently seeking feedback from our members. We have attached drafts to a similar announcement on TeamApp for members to access and read these policies. Alternatively, you can assess the draft policies via this link to Google Drive: https://drive.google.com//1B4R-BIZVDlkiHHxdTRk1PMxmthyCpVk If you would like to provide feedback or ask a question, we invite you to contact the Club President, Anthony Dunn at: [email protected] After this process, a final draft will be presented to the Club Committee for a vote to incorporate and adopt these policies into the club. We look forward to hearing from you.

19.01.2022 ROUND 9 RESULTS - JUNIORS If the glorious weather wasnt a good enough reason to watch some football on Saturday, then the action-packed fixtures certainly were! Under 12s opened the round with a convincing win over Macquarie. The team list hoodoo struck again with Michael Clark getting on the scoresheet. Under 13s had another strong showing against Scots All Saints, with goals shared around indicating a whole-team effort. Under 14s enjoyed a fixture double-header; and ...with the warm afternoon; did very well in both their matches. Special mention to Archie Carah who scored a brace; and Harry McCumstie who impressed both in goal and in the field for Under 13s. Also a special mention to those Under 14s players who; as well as playing in their own double header; also filled in for Under 15s in between! You guys are awesome and we appreciate your Collies pride and passion! #collies2020 #wearecollegians

12.01.2022 POLICE PADDOCK IS OPEN FOR TRAINING! We finally are back on the paddock this week for training. Senior teams will have new spaces to train on, while juniors should be training within their normal spaces. We will wait for further guidance on this as the week progresses. Well done to Bathurst District Football Inc and Bathurst Regional Council for their hard work to preserve and restore these spaces for us after the much needed rain.... We now get to play football and wash our cars on the lawn - how good is that! #collies2020 #wearecollegians

12.01.2022 LIFE MEMBER INDUCTION The Life Membership Award; presented on behalf of Collegians Soccer Club; recognises the outstanding commitment and contributions made by a member who has served a role as a coach or committee member for more than 10 years, and who consistently strives to uphold the values of our club - respect, unity, leadership, pride and inclusiveness. Michelle Brasier has been awarded a life membership to the club for her role as a coach for 12 years and a member... of the club committee for 8 years. Her varied and meaningful contributions during this time has made a significant impact on the club and the development of our junior players. Michelle has become such a positive role model for our junior players; and most significantly; our female footballers. Our strong numbers and participation of female players is due in part to Michelle's involvement in the Competitive Junior program. Michelle also approaches her work on the club committee with a warm, friendly nature and positive outlook. Her relationships with parents, coaches and players embodies our commitment to developing a football family. Congratulations to Michelle on this wonderful achievement!

09.01.2022 ROUND 7 RESULTS - JUNIORS It was another tough week for our Jnr Collies; with only our Under 13s remaining in the winning seat. Under 12s went down narrowly to 75s in a close one; while Under 13s braved the wet, windy conditions to edge out All Saints after some great defence led by Josh Muir. Under 14s and 15s both had great chances in their game to compete, however Macquarie took their chances on both occasions. Special mention to MOM Hunter Fell who was again blessed... by the lineup photo fairy. and Scots All Saints College who kindly accommodated a number of fixtures at the weekend which allowed games to go ahead. #collies2020 #wearecollegians

06.01.2022 ROUND 7 RESULTS - SENIORS Goals, goals goals. There we plenty of goals last weekend in our senior fixtures - its a shame that the opposition scored more of them! 3rd Grade Ladies were once again in the match with the final result really not reflecting the state of play. 4th Grade men composed a spirited comeback from a half-time deficit of three goals, however Panda FC pulled away in the end. Finally, our 2nd Grade men pushed second place to the limit, with the lead c...hanging three times; only to eventually go down. 1st Grade fixture has been postponed to September for a mid-week match. Special mention to Jessie Coker and Damon Moses who both scored their debut goal for Collies. 03.01.2022 FIXTURE CHANGES - SENIORS Please be advised that Field 4, 5 and 6 have been closed for this weekend. This has resulted in changes to draws, venues and times to ensure all games can go ahead. Below is the new schedule for this weeks senior games.

02.01.2022 ROUND 8 RESULTS - SENIORS With competitive juniors matches washed out in Round 8, it was left to our seniors to represent - and they did it in spades, with no losses across the club. The all-elusive clean sweep still remains but we are well on the way to achieving it in 2020. 3rd Grade Women stuck it to a 2nd Grade Panorama side, again showing their ability to match it with strong teams. 4th Grade Men broke a 2-2 deadlock mid-way through their match to take home a 4-2 w...in. 2nd Grade put on a football masterclass against Lithgow, while 1st Grade Men took their chances in a scrappy; but no less important; win. Special Mention to Pherack Sea and Isaac Hope, who both scored their first Collie goals. Were sure theyll be many more to come. Also congratulations to Claudia Coker who bagged another hat-trick, and a special welcome to our mid-season transfer Emily Schembri; who debuted with a WOM performance! #collies2020 #wearecollegians

01.01.2022 ROUND 9 RESULTS - SENIORS Round 9 had everything but the kitchen sink; with byes, draws, mid-week doubles and goals galore from our Senior Collies. Sunday started with a get-out-of-jail effort over Eglinton, where our Senior Women fought back from a 0-2 down halftime score to win 3-2. ... 2nd Grade men had a tough 2-2 draw with top-placed Eglinton in a game that constantly changed momentum. Playing on a travel-size Field 6 also posed unique challenges! And finally, our 4th Grade Men have earned a well-deserved bye this weekend, after back-to-back drubbings in their mid-week fixtures. Special mention to Claudia Coker and Dwayne Esparon who both scored a brace, and Max Burge who scored two consecutive braces in his mid-week fixtures. We should also acknowledge the entire 4th Grade squad who had a short turnaround between matches, and still managed two clean sheets and 10 goals in total for the week. Along with a bye, thats 9 competition points in one week - not bad going! #collies2020 #wearecollegians
