24.01.2022 A good article on places less travelled in Oz. In the Tassie section you will see Orford gets a mention. Why not come on down, spend a few days, walk Maria Island, Tasmania, visit our local winery Darlington Vineyard and the fabulous Spring Bay Distillery. There are some great coastal walks as well. Enjoy fabulous fish'n'chips at The Fish Van in Triabunna or visit our favourite hotel the Blue Waters Hotel for some real Aussie pub food and great service. For other eating opt...ions there is the Spring Bay Hotel, The Colonial Food & Wine cafe, Eastcoaster Tasmania and the classic Orford Cafe Diner. For those that don't mind an hour drive we have some fabulous beaches, walks and wineries just up the road. These include: Boomer Creek Vineyard, Springvale Vineyard, Milton Vineyard, Craigie Knowe Vineyard, Gala Estate Vineyard, Devil's Corner Vineyard, Tasmania, Australia, Freycinet Marine Farm, Wineglass Bay, Tasmania and the list goes on. 18.01.2022 Today we welcomed back our first guests since COVID lock-down. During breakfast service I have a bit of time to post a few pics from around Orford. Today's selection was taken the other night when we were walking home from having a great meal at the Blue Waters Hotel.
