21.01.2022 Happy 10th Birthday to us!!! Today marks the 10th birthday since this little business got off the ground. Pinch me now! And wow, what a fabulous ride it has been. An incredible ten years full of sheer hard work, and of much personal and professional growth. It has taught me so much about myself, and it has introduced me to so many fabulous people along the way - customers, suppliers, mentors and those who I have met along the way across social media channels. ... We have pivoted this little business from a print and graphic design business back in the very early days, to now be a full personalised product based business with so many products types across our collections. And we have a great little team that works here in the background to help create your generous orders, every week. I couldn't be prouder. But more importantly, we couldn't be more grateful for our beautiful customers, supporters and friends. Thanks to my family also as they have been and continue to be an amazing support. I am so thankful to have such a wonderful and supportive circle surrounding me, constantly cheering me on. I adore them all. But ultimately, we are here because of you. Ten years of working hard to make this dream come true. Ten years of waking up and doing what we love daily because of the support we have. 17.01.2022 This keyring, nope, we haven't created this and don't sell it amongst our collections, but this is the *very* keyring I have held onto so preciously from my early childhood. A personalised piece that inspired me to create the business that was founded, just a short ten years ago this Thursday, and the business I am proudly still working in today. This keyring back in the 80's was a rare find for it had a very rare name embossed into it - mine! My name was *never* found o...n anything ever and so when I discovered this extraordinary key ring, I didn't even want to use it for it was so precious to me as a young girl. Where would I ever find another if it broke or if I lost it? It just wasn't worth the risk in my mind, so I stored it in a safe place for years. And so fast forward past those many years, here I am, director of my own little company specialising in just that - personalised pieces, keepsakes and decor, because I could never find this for myself as a young child, and knew there must be so many other children experiencing the same disappointment. Call me crazy, but this saddened me as I would have paid almost anything at the time, to have something with my name on it. But now? Our fabulous and passionate little team are lovingly creating stunning and unique personalised products and keepsakes, and I couldn't be prouder of what we have achieved over the last 10 years! I am more passionate about this biz than I have ever been, so bring on the next ten years and beyond. And as for the birthday celebrations, there will be no physical party as such (thanks covid), but we will be celebrating with a couple of special things online on Thursday so keep a close watch and sign up to our emails to be in the know! Because, it's when you hit double figures in business, it just *has* to be celebrated!!! But, we couldn't have come this far without your support, encouragement and love. 17.01.2022 And with the news today from our Premier, that our primary school children can make a return to onsite learning in term 4, I may have just shed a small tear. The resilience and mental stamina of all of our kids who have basically been home schooled for half a year, who have been separated from their mates, teachers and mentors for a ridiculous amount of time, must be applauded. As must their teachers and mentors. Term 4, we are looking ahead with gratitude, excite...ment and all the smiles that our kids will have when they return to face to face learning. This year has certainly been a roller coaster ride. The ride isn't over yet, and in fact we are far from it here in Melbourne with lots more of easing of restrictions to come yet, but this piece of news has certainly made us smile here today. And my kids? They're over the moon! C'mon Melbourne we've got this! And teachers, we can't wait to greet you once again at those school gates! But I am still feeling so grateful for so many things, even when most of this year has been in lockdown and isolation and has forced us to separate from our loved ones. Also grateful for the amazing teachers who have enabled our kids to continue learning even in the most difficult of circumstances. This year has certainly been a year like no other....
