25.01.2022 We love all animals, not just dogs and cats! Thank you to Jenna and her team members of the Derwent Valley Horse Riders Association, based in New Norfolk, Tasmania who completed their Colour Frenzy Powdered Paws (Hooves) ride yesterday. Almost a 10km ride on a lovely Winter's day! Photos taken at 5 mile and 7 mile beach. Thank you for being a part of our Great event and raising money for animal rescues. We would like to say thank you to everyone for following the covid safety rules, social distancing and using hand sanitiser plus those who stayed home due to sickness. It is a vital part of life at the moment, we couldnt host our events without people following the Health Rules.... Sorry to anyone our Photographer missed, they couldn't be everywhere at once (Tho they tried ). 10.01.2022 Colour Frenzy is focused on being Covid-safe! Here are some Colour Frenzy Covid Safety pointers from our Covid Safety Approved Plans. Please Stay home if you are sick, email us and we will transfer or refund your ticket.... Social Distancing is the key to Covid Safety, We can have a fun colourful day and still social distance <3 Hand Sanitiser and Hand Washing facilities will be available at the event, Please use them :-D Racepack collection is on the Saturday the day before your event to help reduce massive line up and keep up social distancing. 8am to 2pm. If you feel at the event, please let one of our team know and head to the First Aid tent :-D The Covid Safe app is a great way to help keep everyone safe, it is available on Iphone and Android. Our team will be cleaning all touch points during the event to keep everyone safe. Dont forget to fill your Colour Frenzy water bottles before you come on Sunday. This helps to reduce the touch points on the day. Our team will not be able to use your phone to take photos on the day. Instead just ask our photographer walking around in the bright green vest to take one for you and we will post it to facebook after the event. Our social distancing ambassadors will be walking around to keep things 110% safe, if they ask you to spread out a little please do not take offence, they are just trying to keep everyone as safe as possible in this new day and age. 08.01.2022 Colour Frenzy's mission for 2020 is to raise $100,000 for animal rescues across Australia! Each animal in foster care has an average cost of $32 a night while waiting to find their "forever-homes". Everything from food to cuddles, care, vets & treatments, it all adds up. Our first goal is to support by raising enough money to fund 3,125 nights of care ($100,000) With Covid hitting hard this year, many of the rescue shelters we are working with have not been able to do... any fundraising at all, having a devastating effect on our little fur-buddies. This has made our goal even more important, and we need your help! You can assist by becoming a "Rescue Supporter" on our website. Here you'll have the option to donate, to fundraise and you can even help by inviting friends and family to support the cause too! Colour Frenzy has also set up rewards for everyone who donates to our goal! 02.01.2022 To Walk or To Run... That is the question Before you purchase your ticket to one of our fun events please Note, as we are a family focused - all ages event, we do find over 75% of people will walk the tracks. Our tracks are designed for shorter loops of 1km to 2.5km depending on locatons, this gives you the choice of 1 lap or all the laps, little ones and elderley can do 1 lap and still reach every colour, or if you want you can do all the laps and hit the 5k. We are also... a completely untimed event. With the much loved Foam Station (walking only station) you will have to slow down for this area but no stopping due to covid. We always ask our runners and joggers to come to the front of the line before our warm up 15min before wave starts, this helps anyone wishing to run or job to get a head start, as you reach the lap 2 you might need to slow down tho. If you are wanting to check your best 5k time, this might not be the best event for you, tracks can get narrow at some points as we aim to use paths for people in wheelchairs etc. Now if your wanting to have the best day of 2020 and get super colourful, have plenty of fun and just do something you don't get to do everyday then this is PERFECT for you The most important thing is to just come and have some fun and LETS GET COLOURFUL!!
