23.01.2022 Ahh the Virus info...... Dear Residents, These are preventative measures, please do not panic.... To decrease the risk spreading COVID-19 virus, the Body Corporate and Management are implementing the following. Extra cleaning of community spaces with an emphasis on the lift buttons and door handles. Placing hand sanitiser at entrances to the building (we are waiting for more delivery on this) Placing tissues in the foyer to be used as a barrier when pushing buttons. Residents should be aware that you do have a legal obligation to inform the Body Corporate that you have an infectious disease as outlined in the by-laws. Please notify us if you have tested positive or if you are waiting for test results or are self-isolating. Self-isolations: To be clear this means, strictly no leaving your Apartment AT ALL. You must arrange all deliveries including groceries and rubbish removal. Management are not a personal concierge. Security cameras are active to ensure this process is validated. Any breach of this will be taken up with the Body Corporate for necessary further action. It is not fair to jeopardise anyone else in a holiday apartment building as the flow-on effects are incredibly damaging. If a resident at our complex is in self-isolation, enquire if they need assistance to get supplies or groceries. Leave them outside their door. The link below gives information on how quarantine works. https://www.health.qld.gov.au//public-info/self-quarantine We recommend the below for help prevent the spread of the virus: Wash your hands frequently particularly when you enter your apartment. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least a 60% alcohol base. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Many illnesses are often spread when a person touches something that is contaminated with germs and then touches his/her eyes, nose or mouth. Be mindful of contact with persons who may be suffering from a respiratory illness. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. It may prevent those around you from getting sick. If you suspect you may have a respiratory illness, please see your health care provider and practice reasonable avoidance to minimize the opportunity of infecting others around you. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces in your unit using a regular or anti-bacterial cleaning spray or wipe. 15.01.2022 Hi Everyone, We hope you are finding ways to manage the crazy & confusing moment in history we are all experiencing. We have been inundated with phone calls and emails and ask for your patience at this time. For those who have already communicated with us - we thank you. As we muddle our way through this we are wanting to advise that we are doing our very best to meet this situation fairly. None of this is your fault or ours, and seriously hoping to keep our jobs here.... This all really hurts :( But... On the upside - when this crisis passes - we aim to have Columbias lines open & more staff to help take your calls and emails to place your bookings. We are currently working on tariffs to not rise for 2021 to help everyone through a well earned holiday. :)
