23.01.2022 Dear Parents, Yesterday schools were notified of a distressing video of self-harm being circulated on social media. The Dept. has advised that ALL parents are extra vigilant with any access children might have with social media platforms over the next few days. The department has asked that all parents and staff be very careful about what they disclose to children about this matter and have asked parents and staff not to communicate this to their children or students, as the...y fear it can potentially cause more harm. "Please encourage anyone who may be at risk or experiencing emotional distress, including worried family and friends, to contact one of the following services: Kids Helpline. 1800 55 1800.
