19.01.2022 Hello to all our volunteers and friends of CQAC. I am organising a morning tea to celebrate International Volunteers Day ( 5 th Dec) However, we shall be different and celebrate on the 11th as our calendars are booked out for the 5 th. We will be holding it at the Harold Hawthorne Centre, 2 Memorial Avenue in... Carlisle and invite you to attend and to bring a plate of sandwiches, slice, biscuits or cake. We will have coffee, tea, etc. If you could message CQAC with your name and how many coming with you by Tuesday 8th Dec. If anyone is interested, lunch can be purchased in Harry's Diner, on site, at a cost of $10.00 pp. I will need to advise them of numbers by the Tuesday 8 th also. Thanks, Dawn Westwood

11.01.2022 To everyone at Comfort Quilts against cancer, This morning I recieved your lovely parcel. I can honestly tell you I was so deeply touched and moved by your kindness, generosity and thoughtfulness that I blubbered for an hour or so. It was such a lovely gift to receive. The beanies and scarf will get put to use in winter. The quilt is stunning....I love it so , so much. I am an artist and the colours in the quilt are most of my favourite colours. I use them often in my artwo...rks. This is my 3rd Cancer battle. I’ve beaten breast cancer 2009 Melanoma 2010 and now I’m determined to fight and win this battle too. Thankyou to each and everyone of your volunteer team for all your dedication, time, and love that you share by doing this to help put smiles on so many faces. I would also like to thank all your wonderful sponsors for the generous support they give your cause. I would especially like to give a special shout out to Happy Days Coffee Pot at Northam, WA.
