23.01.2022 How fantastic is this advert for the AFLW? Brilliant, feel-good stereotype busting!! Perhaps Officeworks can take a lesson from this for their next round of 'back-to-school advertising'?

22.01.2022 Are you an adult male engaged in a flexible work arrangement? My PhD researcher would like to talk to you! Can you join her for an online conversation about your experience? It will take up to an hour. You need have been involved in an ongoing formal arrangement with your employer to work flexibly sometime in the last two years. Most importantly, this needs to be an arrangement that you have requested not something that your employer has required of you, such as working from home during COVID-19. Please don’t reply to me here - contact [email protected] for further information.

14.01.2022 Dear colleagues, my PhD student (Marianne Clausen) got a great response from the post below (thank you!) but she still needs a few more men to participate in this very important phase of her research. I'd really appreciate it if you could share this to men working flexibly in all your networks. Details of requirements are in the post below. I'll also share the results of her study here for your information when completed. It promises to be very interesting, on the findings I've seen to date.

See below for more details....

05.01.2022 While COVID-19 put a spotlight on gender inequality in the workplace and broader society, 2020 was also the year when the passion and hard work of so many Victorians came to fruition with the Gender Equality Act (2020) becoming law in February. In May, the Commission for Gender Equality in the Public Sector was established, and since then we have consulted widely with stakeholders and advisory groups on implementation of the Act, developed guidance materials, scoped a reporting platform, launched a website and commenced roadshows. I want to thank the Commission staff and all our partners for your amazing work, engagement and support. Have a happy and safe break and we will see you in 2021.
