03.01.2022 Worth reflecting on
03.01.2022 Reconcilaition Day ACT is different this year as well stay socially distancing. There is much we can do to reflect o. The past to embrace a better future. One amazing opportunity is to visit the national Carillion and view the stories about Reconcilaition.
03.01.2022 This is a great article that supports housing first and mentions the Common Ground model used in Australia and what is being done overseas and Finland in particular. Its a long read but one that supports why the Common Ground model of housing first and ongoing supports works so well. The ACT Government is a supporter of the Common Ground model and other new programs like AXIAL housing working with CatholicCare and St Vinnies and Argyle Community Housing in the Lodge at Ainslie Village to find suitable housing and support for our most vulnerable through the COVID-19 Pandemic period. These housing projects have also been supported by the Snow Foundation, The Chief Minister's Charitable Fund and Hands Across Canberra. https://insidestory.org.au/beyond-shelter/
